Ngayong buwan, muli nating ipinagdiriwang ang Buwan ng Wika bilang pagpupugay sa ating pambansang wika at sa mayamang pamana ng mga katutubong wika sa Pilipinas.

Ang tema ngayong taon ay:

🧠 “𝗪𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗜: 𝗞𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸𝘀𝗶𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗮 𝗬𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻.”

Sa panahon ng makabagong teknolohiya, ipinapaalala sa atin ng temang ito na ang Artificial Intelligence (AI) ay maaaring maging katuwang sa pananaliksik at pagkatuto. Gayunman, nananatiling mahalaga ang wastong paggamit ng Wikang Filipino bilang tulay sa mas malalim na pag-unawa, pangangalaga ng ating kultura, at pagpapalawak ng kaalaman.

Alamin din kung bakit Agosto ang opisyal na buwan ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika, alinsunod sa Proklamasyon Blg. 1041, s. 1997.

Sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang ating wika—hindi lamang ngayong Agosto, kundi sa bawat araw ng taon.

Buhi High School

Para sa kaligtasan ng lahat ng mag-aaral, g**o, at mga kawani ng paaralan, pansamantalang ipatutupad ng Buhi High School ang Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) hanggang sa susunod na abiso. Ito ay bunsod ng isang iniulat na banta sa seguridad, kabilang ang isang death threat na natanggap ng paaralan.

Pinapayuhan ang lahat ng mag-aaral na manatili muna sa kanilang mga tahanan at ipagpatuloy ang pagsasagawa ng mga gawaing pampagkatuto na ibibigay ng kanilang mga g**o sa pamamagitan ng mga opisyal na paraan ng komunikasyon.

Hinihiling naman sa mga magulang at tagapag-alaga na gabayan at suportahan ang kanilang mga anak sa pagsasagawa ng mga itinakdang gawain.

Mahigpit na nakikipag-ugnayan ang paaralan sa mga kinauukulang awtoridad upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng lahat at upang magsagawa ng kaukulang imbestigasyon. Ang anumang bagong abiso tungkol sa pagbabalik ng face-to-face classes ay ipapaalam sa pamamagitan ng mga opisyal na communication channels ng paaralan.

Safety is everyone's responsibility!

Today, Buhi High School successfully conducted its Earthquake and Fire Drill as part of our continuous commitment to disaster preparedness and the safety of our learners, teaching personnel, and non-teaching staff.

The activity was evaluated and observed by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Buhi, headed by Sir Venerando A. Claveria, together with his dedicated team. Their valuable insights and recommendations will help strengthen our school's emergency response mechanisms and preparedness programs.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the MDRRMO-Buhi for their guidance and support, as well as to all students, teachers, and staff who actively participated and demonstrated discipline and cooperation throughout the drill.

BUHI HIGH, FIRST DAY HIGH! 🩵

The halls of Buhi High School came alive once again as learners officially began their journey for School Year 2026–2027. With eager smiles and renewed enthusiasm, Grade 8, Grade 10, and Grade 12 learners returned to campus, marking another milestone in their educational journey.

The first day was filled with excitement as class advisers warmly welcomed their students and conducted orientation sessions, providing essential information, classroom expectations, and guidance for the school year ahead. These orientations served as an opportunity for learners to reconnect, familiarize themselves with school policies, and prepare for the challenges and opportunities that await them.

More than just the start of classes, the day symbolized fresh beginnings, new friendships, and a shared commitment to learning and growth. The vibrant energy of the Buhinians reflected their readiness to embrace another year of academic excellence and meaningful experiences.

As we officially welcome the opening of School Year 2026–2027, all students are encouraged to attend the Students' Orientation/Opening Block during their assigned schedules. This orientation period is part of the school's Opening Block activities designed to help learners become familiar with school policies, programs, expectations, and important information for a successful school year.
