📖 STORYTELLING CONTEST 📖
For Grades 4, 5, and 6
Ignatians, are you ready to bring stories to life? Join the Storytelling Contest and showcase your creativity, expression, and love for books. One participant per section from grades 4, 5 and 6 will have the chance to share their favorite tale and inspire others with their storytelling skills! ✨📚
Venue: Colegio de San Ignacio Library
Date: November 27, 2025 (Thursday)
Time: Participant English Period
OVERVIEW
A Storytelling Contest will be held to encourage creativity, confidence, and appreciation for literature among students. The contest will feature participants delivering short stories in English, focusing on expression, delivery, and moral lessons. Each participant will be given a maximum of five (5) minutes to perform.
PARTICIPANTS
• Grade School (Grades 4–6): 1 participant per section
CONTEST MECHANICS
• Each participant shall narrate an original or adapted story of their choice.
• The story must be delivered in English.
• The storytelling presentation should not exceed 5 minutes.
• Participants may use simple props, costumes, and background music to enhance their storytelling, but these should not overshadow the narration.
• Participants must memorize their story.
• The story should be age-appropriate and must reflect positive values, creativity, and moral lessons.
• The organizers will provide the sound system, and basic setup for the contest.
• The contest will be held inside the library.
• The decision of the judges is final and irrevocable.
