The Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (BSABE) proudly celebrates another remarkable achievement as our student researchers excelled in the 3rd Multidisciplinary Student Research Congress under the Thematic Area: Agriculture, Aquatic, Natural Resources, and Resilience.

𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗹 captivated the judges with her research entitled “𝙃𝙮𝙙𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙮𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙘 𝙈𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙄𝙣𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙐𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙀𝘾-𝙍𝘼𝙎 𝘼𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙇𝙖𝙞𝙨 𝙍𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧, 𝙈𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙖, 𝘿𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙤 𝙊𝙘𝙘𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡, 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨,” demonstrating the potential of advanced flood modeling in strengthening disaster risk reduction and community resilience.

We are beyond thrilled to celebrate our brilliant delegates from the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (ABE) department for their stellar performance at the CODEE XI Engineering Congress 2026, held at the Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) last May 14 & 15. With a theme,“𝑪𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒚𝒛𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑶𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝑫𝒚𝒏𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒄 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑬𝒄𝒐-𝒆𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑭𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆”.

The essay written by Shane under entitled "𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙏𝙤𝙤𝙡: 𝘼 𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙑𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙧" and the photograph by Lovely Jane perfectly match each other and produce a strong message of awareness, truth, and hope. They are as creative, insightful, and passionate as the spirit of AB Engineering students.

This acknowledgement honors their talent as well as the pride and excellence of the AB engineering community. Their success should inspire other Bayaws to keep utilizing their creativity, voice, and vision to create a change and bring a better and more knowledgeable future.

Through countless difficulties, relentless challenges, and unforeseen conflicts, MINEAVE stood brave, showing that true champions are not defined by smooth victories, but by courage, resilience, and a steadfast sense of justice. Every obstacle faced became a stepping stone, every trial an opportunity to rise stronger, proving that honor and excellence are earned, not given.

Representing the Institute of Human Service and the Institute of Computing, Engineering, and Technology, MINE-A-VE persevered through every circumstance and championed what it rightfully deserves. This victory is more than a title—it is a testament to the power of unity, determination, and the unwavering spirit of a community that refuses to settle for anything less than greatness.

The SPAMAST Chapter Bayaws were again able to demonstrate their power, discipline, and willpower when they triumphed in the Panarayah 2026 Intramurals. Each game, every action, and each practice displayed their excellence and sportsmanship.

They also demonstrated unity, determination, and collaboration even beyond the winnings and the medals. Their play was a demonstration of preparation, sacrifice, and never-ending support to each other.

It is a proud and inspiring moment to our Bayaws and the Panarayah 2026. You did not only compete, you embodied superiority, zeal, and the real spirit of the intramurals.

Yesterday at the SPAMAST Grafted Building, Buhangin Campus, the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Day proudly recognized the newly registered Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers with its theme: "𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮: 𝘼 𝙒𝙖𝙡𝙠 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙪𝙢𝙥𝙝 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝘼𝘽 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙨." The event celebrated not only their success in the licensure examination but also the dedication, perseverance, and sacrifices behind this milestone.

The celebration was made more meaningful by the presence of Dr. Lynette Bontia, whose inspiring speech emphasized the important role of ABEs in sustainable development and nation-building. The program was further enriched by the heartfelt and inspiring messages of the six newly registered ABE, whose personal stories of struggle and triumph deeply moved the audience.

This ABE Day was a true celebration of excellence and hope, reflecting the bright future of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering at SPAMAST. Congratulations to our newly registered engineers—your journey has only just begun.
