💌 LETTERS OF HOPE | Words That Comfort, Messages That Inspire

Sometimes, we may not know what someone is going through—but we can always choose to offer kindness, encouragement, and hope. 💛

As part of Mental Health Month 2026, the Guidance Services Unit invites all students of San Isidro School of Abatan, Inc. to participate in LETTERS OF HOPE.

Write a short 50–150 word message addressed to “Someone Who Needs Hope” or to a general audience. Your message may offer encouragement, positive affirmations, kindness, understanding, or a reminder that difficult moments can be faced one step at a time. 🌱

📩 HOW TO SUBMIT:
📱 Online: Submit through the GSU page
🏫 In Person: Submit your letter to the GSU Office

You may submit your letter anonymously or include your Name and Grade & Section.

All submissions will be reviewed by the GSU before publication. Selected letters will be shared on the official GSU page throughout Mental Health Month.

This is not a competition—there are no rankings or winners. This is an opportunity to create a collection of messages that reminds our school community that kindness, connection, and hope matter. 🤍

✨ A little kindness can brighten someone’s day. Your words may be the reminder someone needs today.

Let your words be a light. Write your Letter of Hope today. 💌

🎨✨ OPEN GATE: THE BEAUTY OF SELF-EXPRESSION ✨🎨

Tomorrow, October 7, 2026, officially marks the launch of OPEN GATE with our first theme: COLOR YOUR WORLD! 🌈

Students are invited to express themselves through their favorite color or a creative combination of colors in a casual, comfortable, and school-appropriate outfit. Open Gate aims to promote positive self-expression, confidence, individuality, creativity, and respect for personal differences—because being yourself is something worth celebrating! 💚

👕 PLEASE BE GUIDED ACCORDINGLY

On designated Open Gate days, students may wear civilian clothes provided that all clothing and accessories are:

✔️ Clean, decent, safe, and appropriate for the school environment
✔️ Appropriate for classroom activities, movement, and school duties
✔️ Free from offensive, discriminatory, vulgar, or inappropriate words, images, or designs
✔️ Paired with safe and suitable footwear and accessories

🚫 The following are NOT allowed:
• Sleeveless, tube, crop, backless, or similarly revealing tops
• Shorts
• Skirts or dresses above the knee
• Tattered, excessively ripped, or distressed clothing
• Unsafe or potentially harmful accessories
• Inappropriate footwear

Students are also expected to continue observing the school’s existing grooming, appearance, and behavior policies and to show respect for others regardless of their chosen outfit.

💡 Remember: Open Gate is about creativity and self-expression—not competition based on physical appearance.

So, SISAI students, COLOR YOUR WORLD! 🌈✨
Wear your colors, express yourself, and let your individuality shine—appropriately and respectfully!

OPEN GATE: THE BEAUTY OF SELF-EXPRESSION
🎨 Express. Create. Respect. Be You.

🎟️ IMPORTANT REMINDER: Please do not forget to present your Open Gate ticket to the guard, SBO Officers, and advisers upon entry or when requested. This will serve as verification that you are participating in Open Gate and will help ensure that you are not recorded for an improper uniform violation.

Thank you for your cooperation, and enjoy expressing yourself through Open Gate: The Beauty of Self-Expression! 🎨✨

SISAI LINK Club Future Executives Take Part in PMHA YSLP Training

Looking back at last week, three future executives of the SISAI Lakas Isipan Ng Kabataan Club participated in the Philippine Mental Health Association (PMHA) Youth Support Leadership Program (YSLP) held on September 21–23, 2026, at Hotel Tugos, Naguilian Road, Baguio City.

Representing SISAI, the participants were:

• Adelienne Gallamoy – Grade 11 Justice
• Cassandra Louiez Pata – Grade 10 Faithful
• Althea Kate Del Rosario – Grade 9 Cooperation

The three student leaders completed the three-day training equipped with new knowledge, skills, and experiences as emerging mental health advocates, preparing them to share their learnings and promote mental health awareness within the school community.

Adding to the delegation’s achievements, Ate Xandra (Cassandra Louiez Pata) served as an Assistant Camp Chief during the training. Alongside Ate Adelienne, she was also elected as one of the Business Managers of the LINK Club Federation, representing the participating schools in Baguio City.

Ate Xandra further earned a Rising Star Award in recognition of her participation and contributions throughout the three-day training.

The Guidance Services Unit would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the parents for being ever so supportive in the formation of these students.

Their experience is just one of the many opportunities that come with being part of the LINK Club. 🌱💚

Interested in becoming a mental health advocate and student leader? Approach any of the three LINK Club executive members or the Guidance Facilitator to learn more about the organization and how you can get involved.

📢 ONLINE STUDENTS’ NEEDS ASSESSMENT IS NOW ONGOING! 📝

Dear Students, the Students’ Needs Assessment is currently being conducted online. This assessment will help the school better understand your needs, concerns, experiences, and areas where you may need support so we can plan programs and services that are more responsive to you.

🔗 Kindly check your respective Class GCs for the assessment link and accomplish the form within the given period.

💬 Your HONEST answers matter. Please answer each question truthfully and thoughtfully. There are no “right” or “wrong” answers—what matters is that your responses genuinely reflect your experiences and needs.
