Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off: A Hopeful Launch to aThriving School Year

The Gatawa C.Dontogan Integrated School (GCDIS) recently kicked off its Brigada Eskwela program with an engaging ceremony marking the beginning of a collaborative effort to prepare the school for the upcoming academic year. Diverse stakeholders came together to lend their support.

Cerilo M. Telio, School Head highlighted the main objective of the activity which is to ensure the school's readiness to provide a secure and conducive learning space for students.

In his inspiring message,Kagawad Abdon S.Butag underscored the importance of having a willing heart in supporting learners. " Without a genuine willingness to support the our children and our school, we will not achieve our desired outcomes," he said."With collective effort and dedication, we will be proud of what we have accomplished for the school and for our learners by the end of the school year," added he.

The Brigada Kick-off ceremony exhibited the impact of community involvement in fostering academic achievement. With the active participation of the stakeholders, GCDIS is set to provide a supportive environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth.

Through Brigada Eskwela,the school community joins hand to build a brighter future for its learners.

𝐄𝐍𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 2024-2025 𝐈𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍!

According to 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗺 𝗡𝗼. 032, 𝘀. 2024, SCHOOL YEAR 2024 - 2025 will start on July 29, 2024. Hence, enrollment in all public schools will take place from 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 3 𝘁𝗼 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 26,2024..

Mode of enrollment will be any of the following:
1. In-person Enrollment
2. Remote enrollment (thru messenger, text, email)
3. Dropbox Enrollment (located in school or in barangay hall near the school)

For in person enrollment, please visit the school Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 7 enrollees and transferees are required to fill in the BASIC EDUCATION ENROLLMENT FORM and submit:
a. photocopy of PSA/NSO Birth Certificate, b. School Form 9/Learner's Report Card,
c. Certificate of Good Moral Character
d. Certificate of Honorable Dismissal

Meanwhile, CONFIRMATION SLIP shall be required for Grades 2-6, and Grades 8 to 10.

4 teacher's table/chair set await learners of Gatawa C. Dontogan Integrated School this School Year 2024-2025.

These new furniture sets procured from BEFF will surely inspire the learners and will greatly contribute to learners' improvef academic performance. The timing is perfect as it is here early, ready, waiting to be used during the opening of classes on July 29, 2024.

Late Post

Living up to the famous adage "Cleanliness is next to Godliness" and fulfilling one of the activities indicated in the Action Plan of the SELG, officers and learners conducted a clean-up drive along the road of Cayapas until the school's ground on February 2, 2024. They were supervised by their SELG adviser Mrs. Jennilyn C. Sacliten.

Kudos to all these learners.

As a means of continuously building up the child protection capacity of the Department of Education (DepEd) personnel, the DepEd Learner Rights and Protection Office (LRPO) and Stairway Foundation would like to announce the offering of the second batch of the LRPO-Stairway Child Protection E-learning Course for Educators.

This free course will officially start on May 13, 2024, and will run until June 30, 2024.

Delivered as a fully asynchronous and self-paced course, it offers ten (10) CPD points to Licensed Professional Teachers (LPT) for successful course completers.
