Today, we celebrate Escoda Day, a special day that pays tribute to Josefa Llanes Escoda, the remarkable founder of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines. She was not only a visionary leader but also a brave advocate for women’s rights, youth empowerment, and humanitarian service. Through her dedication and love for her country, she became an inspiration to generations of Girl Scouts, teaching us the true meaning of leadership, compassion, and faith in action.

Her courage during difficult times in history reminds us that serving others and standing up for what is right are the true marks of a hero. Escoda’s unbreakable spirit continues to live on in every Girl Scout who chooses to help, lead, and make a difference—no matter how big or small the act may be.

🌿💚 𝙁𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮 — 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙥 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨 𝙪𝙨 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚, 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨.

Our GSP Week Family Day was a beautiful reminder that behind every proud Girl Scout stands a family who nurtures her dreams, cheers her victories, and supports her every step of the way. The laughter, games, and heartfelt moments we shared filled the day with warmth and togetherness. A true celebration of unity and love.

Feeding Program at Talisay Elementary School 🥗

The Girl Scouts of SJA Organization successfully conducted a Feeding Program at Talisay Elementary School, sharing nutritious meals and moments of joy with the students. 🍽️💚

In addition to the feeding activity, the team prepared a short program of games and fun activities that brought smiles and laughter to the children. This meaningful outreach served as a way to promote compassion, service, and community involvement among the scouts.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the school administration, volunteers, and sponsors for their continuous support and generosity. Through simple acts of kindness, the Girl Scouts of SJA continue to live out their promise of service and leadership for others. 🌿✨

Today, we honor the incredible women who lead us with courage, kindness, and unwavering dedication. 💚 Our troop leaders are more than just mentors. They are our guiding lights, cheerleaders, and second moms who teach us the true meaning of service, sisterhood, and strength. 🌿

As a token of our love and gratitude, we surprised our troop leaders with beautiful bouquets of flowers. 💐 Each petal symbolizing our appreciation for the time, care, and effort they give to help us grow and shine.

It carries the colors of our journey, the spirit of service, and the pride of belonging to a movement that knows no borders. Every knot holds the memory of challenges conquered, friendships forged, and moments that shaped who we are.

The Scout scarf is a badge of courage worn in the open field, a symbol of peace shared in different languages, and a reminder that even the smallest act of kindness can change the world. From bustling cities to quiet mountains, it unites us in one promise — to live with integrity, serve with heart, and always leave the world a little better than we found it.

On August 1, we wear our scarves with pride, not just as part of our uniform, but as a living symbol of everything we believe in as Girl Scouts of Saint Joseph Academy. Each thread represents a promise; a commitment we make not only to ourselves, but to the world around us.

"On my honor, I will try,
To serve God and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.” 🌟

These words are more than a pledge. They are a way of life. As Girl Scouts, we strive to be honest and fair, friendly and helpful, courageous and strong. We lead with kindness, serve with heart, and grow through every challenge we face.

World Scout Scarf Day is more than a tradition.
