Asuncion Elementary School headed by Sir Richard S. De Guzman just concluded its CARD DAY and General Assembly for this FIRST TERM of School Year 2026-2027 at Asuncion Elementary School Gym.

In line with this program, Sir Richard S. De Guzman successfully delivered his State of the School Head Address (SOSA) to the parents, guardians, teachers and learners of the school, giving emphasis to the following:

✅*MPS per learning areas of First Term Exams;
✅*Reading/ Literacy Assessments levels;
✅*Numeracy Assessments/Levels;
✅*Spelling Achievements and Mastery Levels;
✅*Academic Accomplishments;
✅*Deped Order No. 015, s. 2026 for Classroom Assessments, grading system and awards and recognition for this school year 2026-2027;
✅*Deped Calendar of Activities (3 Terms);
✅*School rules and policies; and
✅*others

Furthermore, Sir De Guzman and our dedicated teachers recognized the efforts, improvement, and progress of our learners during their Card and Recognition Day in their respective classrooms.

Asuncion Elementary School headed by Sir Richard S. De Guzman, recently conducted its 2 day In-Service Training (INSET) 2026 for Term 1 for this School Year 2026-2027 with its theme: "From Evidence to Excellence: Strengthening Assessment, Intervention and Learning Design" from September 10-11, 2026.

This will allow and embrace different opportunities to learn, grow, and strengthen their knowledge and skills for better teaching and learning.

Through collaboration, professional development, and continuous learning, our teachers continue to inspire and empower our learners and colleagues. ❤️🤗😇🎉

🏆🔥 ASUNCION ES SCHOOL-BASED INTRAMURALS 2026🔥 🏆

Asuncion Elementary School headed by Sir Richard S. De Guzman recently conducted its School-Based Intramurals 2026 with the theme: "Athletes United: Excellence on the Field, Values for Life" last September 09, 2026 at Asuncion Elementary School Gym.

The said program headed by dynamic School Sports Coordinator, Ms. Hershey Mae V. Salamat aims to celebrate teamwork, camaraderie, sportsmanship and school spirit in the different Larong Lahi conducted from Kindergarten to Grade 3 and Simultaneous Sports Events from Grades 4 to 6.💪

In this regard, we would like also to thank and express our deepest gratitude to Palmero Family from Chicago for giving packed lunches, ice cream desserts and chocolates to our learners. Your thoughtfulness brought smiles to those who received the simple gesture of your kindness, love and care.

SEPTEMBER 07-08, 2026 || TERM 1 EXAMINATION

Asuncion Elementary School, headed by Sir Richard S. De Guzman would like to thank our dynamic Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) Sir Felix G. Raymundo, Sr. during his meritorious monitoring for the conduct of End of First Term Exam for this S.Y. 2026-2027.

This examination will evaluate our students' progress in their academics and learning areas. The data/ results will also help our teachers assess the overall effectiveness of teaching strategies and methods, allowing them to hone their instruction for future classes.

September 04, 2026|| MODULAR DISTANCE LEARNING and VIRTUAL MEETING OF ASUNCION ES

In view of MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 134 of the Office of the President and upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) , and in view of the anticipated continued heavy rainfall
associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon, and the poor air quality currently being experienced in the National Capital Region (NCR) caused by the haze from the severe forest and peatland fires in Kalimantan and Sumatra, Indonesia, alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented at
all levels in public and private educational institutions in Pangasinan.

In line with this, Asuncion Elementary School headed by Sir Richard S. De Guzman, shifted to Modular Distance Learning (MDL) for the learners and conducted Virtual Meeting via Microsoft Teams platform today, September 04, 2026 (Friday).

Moreover, Sir Richard discussed to the teachers the scheduled activities, planning, and recommendations including interventions needed for the End of First Term Block.

This alternative learning and virtual meeting of the school personnel was implemented to ensure the continuity of learning and work arrangements while prioritizing the safety of learners and school personnel.

It has been a challenging yet productive day for everyone!

Executive Order No. 079, series of 2026 , face-to-face classes are hereby suspended by our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Mayor William K. Dy at all levels both public and private Schools in the Municipality of Bugallon due to flooding in some several areas.

Classes in Asuncion Elementary School headed by Sir Richard S. De Guzman, shifted to MODULAR DISTANCE LEARNING (MDL) under HINAY to ensure the continuity of Learning while prioritizing the safety of learners and school personnel.

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 072, series of 2026, Hon. Mayor William K. Dy hereby suspended the classes at all levels in the Municipality of Bugallon (public and private) today, August 25, 2026 (Tuesday) due to typhoon Obet and the on going rehabilitation of some school facilities affected by the recent flooding.

In line with this, learners were advised to stay at home and answer their modules at their own pace. While students work through their printed, digitized modules and worksheets, teachers provide guidance, support and feedback.

Due to foreecasted intensifying effects of the Typhoon Saudel (International Name), Hon. Mayor William K. Dy hereby suspended the face-to-face classes at all levels in the Municipality of Bugallon (public and private) today (August 24, 2026) to ensure the continuity of learning while prioritizing the safety of the learners and the school personnel.
