​Buenavista National High School is proud to represent SDO Marinduque at the Regional Flexing of School-Based Management (SBM) Initiatives, Successes, and Best Practices. Held at the Regional Education Learning Center (RELC) in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro from March 24-26, 2026, the event highlighted innovations anchored in the Six Dimensions of SBM.

The first quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) for 2026 was successfully conducted at Buenavista National High School, in partnership with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and Philippine National Police (PNP) Buenavista. Students, teachers, and staff actively practiced the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure to strengthen earthquake preparedness and promote a culture of safety within the school community.

BUENAVISTA NHS Celebrates 100% Passing Rate in TVL NC II Assessment

Congratulations to our 158 Grade 12 Technical Vocational and Livelihood (TVL) students for achieving a perfect 100% passing rate (158/158) from both regular and Open High School Program (OHSP) in the recent National Certificate (NC II) Assessment in Bread and Pastry Production (BPP).

The NC II Assessment is a critical milestone in the K to 12 Senior High School program, serving as both a track requirement and a vital exit assessment. This achievement was made possible through the Joint Delivery Voucher Program (JDVP) of the Department of Education in partnership with Marinduque Technical Training Center Incorporated (MTTCI).

We extend our deepest gratitude to our Senior High School teachers and coordinators. Under the visionary leadership of our School Principal, Thelma M. Salvacion, their tireless dedication and collaborative spirit ensured this year's resounding success.
