ADVISORY

In line with the advisory of the Municipal Government of Buenavista, CMDI will follow the guidelines and arrangements stated in the official advisory regarding the continuation of face-to-face classes and possible early dismissal due to the high heat index.

𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘!

Please be informed that Face-to-Face Classes in ALL LEVELS, both Public and Private Schools, will continue tomorrow, August 24, 2026, and on succeeding days.

Upon the recommendation of DepEd Buenavista, through the School Principals, classes are advised to be dismissed at 11:30 AM as a precautionary measure against high heat index.

However, if the Heat Index remains below 40°C due to favorable weather conditions, such as cloud cover and cooler breeze, face-to-face classes may continue/resume, subject to the assessment of the respective school principals.

In the event of early dismissal, students shall be provided with assigned modules/learning activities to take home to ensure continuity of learning.

This arrangement is being implemented in coordination with and upon the recommendation of DepEd Buenavista and the respective school principals, with the safety and well-being of our learners as the primary consideration.

ANNOUNCEMENT | UPDATED ALTERNATIVE DRESS CODE

Due to the prevailing extreme heat/weather conditions and elevated heat index, CMDI will implement an Updated Alternative Dress Code to help promote the comfort, safety, and well-being of our students.

Effective August 18, 2026 to August 29, 2026, students may wear CMDI Department Shirts or appropriate civilian attire, provided that the attire follows the guidelines indicated in the attached poster.

We encourage everyone to observe the updated alternative dress code with decency, professionalism, and respect for the school community.

Let us stay cool, comfortable, and responsible while keeping our campus safe and respectful for everyone.

ANNOUNCEMENT | RESUMPTION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES

Face-to-face classes in all levels will resume tomorrow, August 18, 2026 (Tuesday).

All students are expected to report to campus and attend their scheduled classes as usual.

Subject: Temporary Shift from Face-to-Face Classes to Blended Learning Due to High Heat Index

Dear Students,

In view of the high heat index being experienced in the province, and in consideration of the health, safety, and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff, please be informed that face-to-face classes will temporarily shift to a Blended Learning modality effective August 13–14, 2026.

This temporary arrangement is intended to minimize the possible health risks associated with prolonged exposure to extreme heat while ensuring the continuity of learning.

The Faculty will continue to facilitate and monitor the students' learning activities through appropriate online and other alternative learning modalities. All lessons, learning materials, activities, assessments, and academic requirements will be provided accordingly. Students are expected to actively participate in the scheduled activities and comply with the given instructions and deadlines.

Students are also advised to regularly check the official communication channels of CARD MRI Development Institute, Inc. – Buenavista for updates regarding class schedules, learning activities, and any changes to this arrangement.
