From the confines of the lecture halls to the frontlines of public service, a new chapter begins.

The Guimaras State University Gymnasium serves as the proud venue today as criminology interns, parents, distinguished guests, faculty, and staff gather for the solemn Pinning and Donning Ceremony of Class Sandakilab 2026–2027.

This sacred rite de passage marks a profound transition from academic learners to future defenders of the law. The pinning of the insignia and the donning of the uniform signify the assumption of public trust, discipline, and an unyielding commitment to the administration of justice.

In an inspiring address to the batch, our College Dean reminded the interns of the ultimate mindset required in the field of law enforcement: "Quitters never win, and winners never quit." This powerful reminder serves as a guiding light for the interns as they face the rigorous demands of their field training.

To our interns: as you enter the field, carry the fierce fire of Sandakilab with utmost professionalism and resilience. May you stand firm in the face of adversity, protect the vulnerable with honor, and serve the nation with an untarnished soul.

The Guimaras State University (GSU) grounds bore witness to the grit and determination as the new batch of criminology interns embarked on their five (5)-day training. Under the scorching sun and the relentless commands, they officially endured their traditional reception rites, marking their explosive entry into the world of tactical training and field deployment.

Throughout this intensive week, the interns were pushed past their comfort zones through drills, tactical simulations, exercises, and decision-making. Despite the physical exhaustion and intense pressure, their determination and high morale kept everyone moving forward. These five (5) days of training solidified their passion and instilled the art of discipline, integrity, and camaraderie.

Congratulations to the new criminology interns CL SANDAKILAB — the grind has officially begun! ❤️‍🔥🫡
