BCC President Dr. Analiza L. Chua, paid a courtesy visit to Col. Sonny E. Gonzales, Group Commander of the 2nd Training Group, Education and Training Command, Philippine Army, to explore collaborative opportunities that promote the exchange of expertise, best practices, lessons learned, and innovative approaches to learning and training.

The proposed Faculty Development and Exchange Program provides a platform for both institutions to strengthen professional competencies, encourage knowledge-sharing, and explore opportunities for research collaboration and capacity-building.

Buenavista Community College joins the Province of Bohol in celebrating the 172nd Bohol Day on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

Pursuant to Republic Act No. 7683, July 22 of every year is declared Bohol Day, a special non-working public holiday throughout the Province of Bohol and the City of Tagbilaran.

In observance of this holiday, there will be NO CLASSES on July 22, 2026.

Buenavista Community College announces that the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) Application for Academic Year 2026โ€“2027 is now OPEN!

TES is a government-funded financial assistance program under Republic Act No. 10931 (Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act) designed to support qualified college students with their educational expenses.

As part of the Day 2 activities of the ALCUCOA Accreditation Visit, the accreditation team visited Buenavista Community College's Community Extension Site in Lusong, Buenavista, Bohol to observe the implementation of the Kitchenpreneurship Program of the Hospitality Management Department.

The program is designed to empower Solo Parent beneficiaries by providing them with practical culinary skills, food processing techniques, and basic entrepreneurial knowledge that can help create sustainable livelihood opportunities. Through this extension initiative, BCC continues to strengthen its commitment to community development by equipping beneficiaries with valuable skills that support economic independence and improve their quality of life.

The visit also provided the accreditors with the opportunity to engage with faculty members, community partners, and the solo parent beneficiaries, showcasing the meaningful impact of BCC's extension programs in transforming lives through education, skills training, and community empowerment.
