OLFS SHINES IN DIOCESAN INTER-VICARIATE ATHLETIC MEET

St. John High School, San Juan, Abra — The cheers were loud, the spirit unshakeable, and the pride unmistakable as Our Lady of Fatima School of Bucay, Abra, Inc. (OLFS) under the banner of the Our Lady of Lourdes Vicareate marched into the grounds of St. John High School, San Juan for the Diocesan Inter-Vicariate Athletic Meet, bringing with them not just athletes, but a legacy of discipline, faith, and excellence.

From the opening parade to the first whistle of competition, the Diocesan Schools as one family showcased heart, grit, and sportsmanship.

Beyond medals and match scores, what stood out most was the unity of the schools delegations displayed.

The event, rooted in camaraderie and values formation, highlighted that sports in the diocese is more than competition; it is a celebration of youth empowered by faith. And OLFS embodied exactly that—athletes who play with passion, humility, and reverence.

Our Lady of Fatima School of Bucay Abra, Inc. reigns supreme in the Street and Ground Demonstration Competition during the Bucay Town Fiesta Celebration 2025.

With the leadership of the School Director, Rev. Fr. Antonio Ruyan, Mr. Carmelo Palcon Jr., the school principal and the collaborative effort of the trainer Mr. Kenneth Barbosa, Mr. Mark Loyd Bernal and Jaja Velasco, all the hard-working teachers, supportive parents and guardians headed by the General PTR President, Mr. Gerardo Torres and our motivating alumni, the school emerged Champion; winning back the glory once again.😇🙏

Gratitude is deeply expressed to LGU of Bucay headed by Hon. Mayor Andrea Ma. Francheska "Jaja" Bernos, Vice Mayor Judor "Jojo" Zales, SB Members and all the LGU employees for the success of the Bucay Town Fiesta 2025.
