📢 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 🌏🚨

The 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) was successfully conducted to strengthen earthquake preparedness, awareness, and response capabilities.

Participants actively took part in the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure, followed by the orderly evacuation to designated assembly areas. The activity served as an important reminder that preparedness and proper response can help protect lives during an earthquake.

🚨 NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS SAFETY DRILL 2026 🚨

Siwasiw Elementary School Headed by Ma'am Fedelyn M. Tacis, actively participated in the National Simultaneous Safety Drill (NSSD) conducted on September 3, 2026, at 9:00 AM.

The activity focused on strengthening the preparedness and awareness of our learners and personnel in responding to emergency situations, particularly through the RUN–HIDE–FIGHT technique:

🏃 RUN – Escape from danger and move to a safe location when it is safe to do so.

🙈 HIDE – If escape is not possible, find a secure place, stay quiet, and remain out of sight.

🛡️ FIGHT – As a last resort, if confronted with imminent danger and unable to run or hide, take action to protect yourself.

The drill was conducted as a safety preparedness exercise, with no reenactment, emphasizing the importance of remaining calm, following instructions, and knowing what to do during an emergency.

Especial thank to Ma'am Beth Bisnan, SPTA president and to Manong Wriwel Ariola, Brgy. Security personnel for the active participation.

Through activities like this, Siwasiw Elementary School continues to promote a culture of preparedness, awareness, and safety among learners and personnel. 💙

In preparation of the National Simultaneous Safety drill, Mr. Jonathan R. Pinto, School DRRM Coordinator conducted a room-to-room orientation to guide learners and personnel on proper emergency response before, during, and after the drill, with emphasis on the RUN–HIDE–FIGHT technique.
