Culmination of the 52nd National Nutrition Month 2026

The month-long celebration of the 52nd National Nutrition Month was successfully observed through curriculum integration, where teachers creatively incorporated the Nutrition Month theme into their daily lessons and classroom activities. This meaningful approach allowed learners to appreciate the importance of proper nutrition, healthy lifestyles, food security, and environmental stewardship across different learning areas.

Guided by this year's theme, "Go PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat para sa Lahat! Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan," our learners demonstrated their knowledge and creativity through integrated activities that reinforced the connection between nutrition and environmental sustainability.

Together, we continue to nurture healthy minds, healthy bodies, and a healthier future for all.

A Salamat-Mabuhay, Ma'am Marianne Mae R. Pataray!

Yesterday, after classes, we gathered to celebrate and bid a heartfelt Salamat-Mabuhay to Ma'am Marianne as she prepares to continue her teaching journey at Bangcagan Primary School.

Thank you so much, Ma'am Marianne, for the one and a half months you have shared with us. Although your stay with our school was short, the memories you created, the kindness you showed, and the knowledge and inspiration you shared with our learners will always be remembered.

You may be leaving our school, but the impact you have made will remain in our hearts. Thank you for touching the lives of our learners and for being part of our school family.

We will not say goodbye—just see you around! May you continue to inspire and make a difference wherever your journey takes you. We will surely miss you, Ma'am!

Salamat-Mabuhay, and God bless you on your new assignment!

In compliance with Division Memorandum No. 316, s. 2026,"Participation of All Schools and DepEd Offices in the 2026 National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) Activities," Pagala East Elementary School actively participated in the month-long observance of the 2026 National Disaster Resilience Month through a series of activities aligned with the thematic pillars of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM). These activities were implemented under the leadership and supervision of Dr. Mary Hazel B. Ballena, School Principal IV, together with SDRRM Coordinator Cerine M. Anin and the teaching personnel of Pagala East Elementary School.

The school commenced its participation on July 7, 2026, under the theme Philippine DRRM System, through the posting of the NDRM 2026 Tarpaulin to raise awareness and promote the objectives of the national campaign. In support of the Prevention and Mitigation theme, a Tree Planting Activity was conducted on July 10, 2026, emphasizing environmental protection and disaster risk reduction. On July 16, 2026, under the theme Preparedness, learners, teachers, and stakeholders participated in a Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness Orientation facilitated by personnel from the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), enhancing their knowledge and readiness for emergencies. To strengthen response capabilities, the school conducted an Earthquake Drill on July 21, 2026, in line with the Response theme, allowing the school community to practice proper emergency procedures. The month-long celebration concluded on July 27, 2026, with a School Clean-Up Drive under the theme Rehabilitation and Recovery, promoting collective action in maintaining a safe, healthy, and resilient learning environment.

Through these activities, Pagala East Elementary School demonstrated its commitment to advancing disaster resilience, preparedness, and cultivating a culture of safety among learners, personnel, and stakeholders.
