Meeting de Avance at Datu Mamintal Adiong Sr. Memorial National High School

On March 4, 2026 (Wednesday), Datu Mamintal Adiong Sr. Memorial National High School hosted the highly anticipated Meeting de Avance for student organization candidates. The event was attended by students, faculty members, and school officials, providing a platform for candidates to present their platforms and initiatives prior to the upcoming elections.
The program commenced with a Welcome Address delivered by SSLG President Saimar B. Datunaim. In his speech, he warmly welcomed the candidates and attendees while emphasizing the importance of leadership, accountability, and cooperation among the student body. He also encouraged candidates to communicate their platforms sincerely and reminded students to choose leaders committed to serving the school community with integrity.
Following the welcome, the Inspirational Message was delivered by Principal Sir Asnawi D. Rakiin, who reminded the candidates that true leadership extends beyond holding office. He highlighted that effective leadership requires honesty, responsibility, and a willingness to serve others. He also encouraged students to actively engage in the election process and exercise their right to vote wisely.
Next, the Volunteer COMELEC Teachers, Raihana Natangcop and Junairah Mangorangca, addressed the audience to explain the rules and procedures for the upcoming voting process. Their guidance emphasized the significance of fairness, transparency, and responsibility in ensuring a credible election.
After the speeches from school officials and advisers, current student leaders, including SSLG President Saimar B. Datunaim, BKD President Hamida Daud, YES-O President Jamim Oding, and ISSC President Norsaif Macombao, also took part in the program, sharing brief remarks and encouraging students to participate responsibly.
The candidate presentations then commenced. SSLG candidate Hani Macaraya was the first to present her platform, introducing the A.C.E Party List and highlighting her team to the student audience.
Following her, SSLG candidate Macmod Yusop shared his platform and introduced the SIGLA Party List, along with its members.
The Independent YES-O President candidate, Ezikiel D. Bongcarawan, followed by presenting his plans for the organization.
Next, YES-O President candidate Jamar Capal presented his platform and introduced his TIBAY Party List, followed by YES-O President candidate Almirah Tanggor, who introduced her YAKAP Party List.
After the YES-O candidates, the BKD President candidate Faiz Faisal presented his platform and introduced his PADAYON Party List. The final candidate, BKD President candidate Faharoding Gamal, presented his platform and introduced the ITITIMBAK Party List to the students.
The event successfully provided students with a clear understanding of each candidate and their team. It also reinforced the values of leadership, responsibility, and active participation within the school community.
