Warning Against Suspicious LANDBANK Emails

To All Concerned:

Please be advised to exercise heightened caution when receiving emails claiming to be from LANDBANK, particularly messages requesting verification of your registered mobile number or threatening account restriction.

To protect your account and personal information:

Do not click links or buttons contained in suspicious emails.
Do not provide your account credentials, password, PIN, OTP, or other confidential information.
Do not respond to suspicious messages or provide personal information through email.

Verify any account-related concern only through official LANDBANK channels.

If you receive a suspicious message, report it through LANDBANK's official customer service or phishing-reporting channels.

Important: The appearance of a message, including the LANDBANK name and logo, does not by itself confirm that the message is legitimate. Always verify the sender and destination of any link before taking action.
When in doubt, do not click. Verify through official channels first.
Protect your account. Protect your personal information. Stay vigilant against phishing and online banking scams.

Phishing Campaign: “Migration and Upgrade” Email

The Department of Education (DepEd) has identified a phishing campaign targeting DepEd personnel involving a fraudulent “Migration and Upgrade” email.

🔎 What the Scam Claims:

The email falsely states that:
Effective February 28, 2026, official DepEd emails will migrate from Microsoft 365 Outlook to Gmail.

Users must immediately access their accounts via “portal.gmail.com”.

Accounts will be upgraded to Google Workspace for Education Plus.

Staff will receive enhanced access to Google Classroom, Google Meet, Gemini AI, and additional Drive storage.

⚠ This email is fraudulent. DO NOT CLICK the link.

Public Advisory!

The Department of Education - Computer Emergency Response Team (DepEd CERT) has identified a new phishing campaign currently targeting DepEd personnel. This is the screenshot of the email.

Personnel who receive similar emails are advised NOT TO CLICK THE LINK and use the "Report phishing" button to help the DepEd CERT track and block the malicious domains.
