Women and girls continue to face heightened risks of trafficking in persons through exploitation, coercion, deception, and gender-based vulnerabilities that threaten their rights, safety, dignity, and opportunities.

This 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, the Philippine Commission on Women continues to stand with the nation in reaffirming that ending trafficking requires collective action, stronger protection mechanisms, and sustained support for survivors as they rebuild their lives.

As a member of the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking and in line with its mandate under the Republic Act No. 11862 or the Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act, PCW remains committed to advancing gender-responsive policies, strengthening public awareness, and advocating for survivor-centered approaches that protect women and all vulnerable sectors from exploitation.

Human trafficking is not only a crime—it is a violation of human rights.

This Pride Month, we celebrate the diversity, courage, and contributions of LGBTQIA+ individuals and communities. We envision a society where every person is treated with dignity, respect, and fairness—regardless of s*x, gender identity, gender expression, or s*xual orientation.

True gender equality means creating spaces where everyone can participate, thrive, and be heard without fear of discrimination. It means ensuring that every individual has equal opportunities to live, work, lead, and succeed.

The Philippine Commission on Women reaffirms its commitment to advancing inclusivity, promoting human rights, and fostering a society where no one is left behind.

Our diversity is our strength. Together, let us build a nation where everyone is free to live authentically, safely, and with pride.

Sa ika-31 National Migrant Workers’ Day, kinikilala natin ang sipag, tibay, at sakripisyo ng ating migrant workers na malayo man sa pamilya, patuloy pa ring nagsusumikap para sa kanilang kinabukasan at para sa bansa.

Saludo higit sa mga kababaihang migrant workers na araw-araw na humaharap sa hamon ng trabaho at migration, habang patuloy na pinangangalagaan ang kanilang mga pamilya at karapatan. Kaisa ninyo ang PCW sa pagsusulong ng inyong proteksyon at kapakanan.

Today, as we honor the Philippine flag, let us remember that beyond being a symbol of nationhood, it carries the story of sacrifice and courage. It stands as a reminder of May 28, 1898, when the Philippine flag was first raised and waved in Cavite, a powerful moment that marked the Filipino people’s growing unity and struggle for independence.

In remembering this historic moment, may the colors of our flag continue to call us toward dignity, equality, and empowerment for all, inspiring us to build a nation where every Filipino—especially women and marginalized sectors—is included, empowered, and able to shape our collective future.

This International Women’s Day for Peace and Disarmament, we honor the strength and leadership of women who continue to champion peace, justice, and equality in their communities and beyond. Their voices remind us that violence can never be the answer to the world’s challenges.

The Philippine Commission on Women stands in solidarity with all women working to build safer, more inclusive, and peaceful communities.

Mabuhay ang bawat manggagawang Pilipino! 🫡

Ngayong Pandaigdigang Araw ng mga Manggagawa, patuloy nating binibigyang-pugay ang bawat manggagawang Pilipino sa kanilang mahalagang papel bilang haligi ng ating ekonomiya at ng buong bansa. Sa kanilang pagsusumikap at dedikasyon sa iba’t ibang industriya, larangan, at sektor, kinikilala natin ang kanilang kontribusyon bilang lakas na nagpapatakbo ng ating pag-unlad.

Sa lahat ng kababaihang patuloy na nagsusumikap at naglilingkod sa iba’t-ibang larangan at sektor—maraming salamat at pagpupugay sa inyo.
