📚📖For those who are planning to SHIFT this coming 1st semester, AY 2026-2027, here are the steps to follow:

STEP 1: Contact the PROGRAM you wish to shift to (you may visit their FB pages or go to their respective offices in-person). Inquire the following:
1️⃣ if they are accepting shifters this coming new semester
2️⃣ if you qualify in the program you wish to shift to
3️⃣ what are their requirements for shifters
✔ *if the program is accepting shifters and you were deemed qualified for the program proceed to STEP 2

STEP 2: Secure PROGRAM SHIFTING FORM (ESSU-GCSO-105|Version 1) at the Guidance office and fill it out. You may also download and print the form using this link: 🖨🖱

STEP 3: Set an appointment for your CAREER ADVISING session at the Guidance office in-person or via DM on our FB Page.📥 Indicate the following in your message:
1. Full name
2. Current program
3. Program applying for
4. Contact number
or you may visit the office in person or send a representative to schedule the appointment.

STEP 4: Submit your completely filled PROGRAM SHIFTING FORM and undergo CAREER ADVISING on your scheduled date at the Guidance office, ESSU Main (temporary located in IGP Office).

👉IMPORTANT REMINDER: Career advising is by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Walk-ins will be accommodated only if no one is scheduled at that date and time.

STEP 5: Claim your Career Guidance Certificate (ESSU-GCSO-106|Version 1). 👍

To all prospective students who took the University Entrance Examination at ESSU-Borongan from March to May 2026, the results will be released on May 14, 2026, at the Students’ Pavilion (across the I love ESSU marker).

Reminders:
1. The EXAMINATION PERMIT must be presented when claiming the results.

2. If results are to be claimed by a representative, the following documents must be presented:
•1 original copy of applicant's duly signed authorization letter
•1 photocopy of applicant's test permit
•1 photocopy of the representative's valid ID

3. Results should be claimed on the assigned release date.

⚠️ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: ENTRANCE EXAM IN JIPAPAD NATIONAL HS AND ARTECHE NH IS CANCELLED DUE TO TYPHOON BASYANG

To all applicants and concerned parties:

The entrance exam originally scheduled for February 5,2026 at Jipapad National High School and February 6 at Arteche National High School has been CANCELLED due to Typhoon Basyang. Your safety is our absolute priority, and this decision was made following careful review of weather updates from PAGASA.

We understand that this may cause inconvenience and disappointment, and we sincerely apologize for any trouble this may bring.

A new schedule for the entrance exam will be announced as soon as possible through the ESSU page, our official website. Please stay tuned for further updates.

Eastern Samar State University Borongan Campus is excited to announce the schedules and venues of the Entrance Examination for School Year 2026-2027 in the North and Central areas of the province. For the South area, your schedules and venues will be announced very soon.
Prospective students are required to report to the testing centers at 8:00 AM for the submission of requirements, except those scheduled to take the Entrance Examination at Eastern Samar National Comprehensive High School on January 24 and 25 and have already been issued their examination permits.
