ICYMI | ESSU Marching Band Leads the Beat at the Opening of Intramurals Meet 2026.

The Eastern Samar State University (ESSU) Marching Band brought music, energy and vibrant festival spirit to the opening of the ESSU Intramurals Meet 2026.

The ESSU Main Campus is currently hosting the two-day Intramurals Meet, uniting the University community in a celebration of sportsmanship, camaraderie, school pride and unity.

Spearheading the grand parade, the ESSU Marching Band set the rhythm as they led the Mr. and Ms. ESSU 2026 candidates, faculty members, employees and students from the different units and clusters through a lively and colorful procession.

With every beat of the drum and every note of the brass, the campus came alive, setting the stage for two days of competition, friendship, and unforgettable Intramurals moments.

Weeks of preparation, rigorous auditions and countless hours of practice have all led to this moment. Today is the final day of practice before the final selection of the new members of the ESSU Marching Band.

Tomorrow, July 21, we will conduct the final selection and officially announce the list of applicants who have made the final cut and earned a place in the ESSU Marching Band.

Good luck to everyone and congratulations in advance to those who will make it to the final cut. Your hard work and dedication have brought you this far.

DAY TWO CONCLUDED 🥁

The second day of our admissions process has officially come to a close.

Today, we were excited to welcome additional aspiring members who joined us for the first time, proving that it's never too late to take the first step toward becoming part of the ESSU Main Marching Band. We also witnessed remarkable growth from many of our returning applicants, whose improvements reflected their dedication, hard work, and willingness to learn in such a short time.

To everyone who participated, thank you for your enthusiasm, confidence, and commitment throughout the admissions process. Your passion continues to inspire us, and we are proud to see each of you pushing yourselves to become better every day.

The initial day of our admissions process has been successfully completed. We extend our sincere gratitude to all the students who participated and demonstrated their talent and dedication today. Your commitment has provided an excellent start to the selection process.

Please be reminded that admissions remain open until tomorrow for all interested students who wish to pursue a position within the marching band.
