Praises of and Prayers for EFCP Ministries.
Thanksgiving
1. EFCP Successful Assessment and Coaching Seminar in Cebu and the Regional Teachers' Training for Basic CP Material by Pastor Steve Elliot and Pastor Jun Sabate.
2. Blessed time of EFCP Delegates to Intentional Discipleship Making Church Seminar in Covenant EFC in Singapore
3. Successful Introduction to Healing Seminars in Surigao, Agusan and Davao
4. Successful International Living Waters Leadership Training in Laguna attended by 14 EFCP delegates from Luzon - 1, Visayas - 8 and Mindanao - 5.
5. Completion of generators' purchase and distribution for the regions in preparation for calamities during the rainy season.
Requests
1. Department of Church Health and Growth
a. Healing Programs in all the regions (Intro to Healing - Leyte, Negros, Luzon and Japan; Cross Current and Living Waters 20 weeks - Cebu, Samar, and Mindanao.
b. Bachelor of Pastoral Studies (BPS) through the 10 Books of Bible Training Center of Pastors (BTCP). Pray for Pastor Gil Zuniega, recently appointed EFCP National Coordinator of BPS Programs being conducted in Luzon (online), Agusan, Surigao, Samar, Cebu and Negros. Cebu students, the first batch who completes the 10 books, will be graduating by January 2025. Pray they complete all the requirements.
c. Safety and Healing of Sick Pastors - Pastor Ruel Jimar. Pastor Dexter Limbaroc, Pastor Jonjon Delig
d. Pray for all the Regional Coordinators for effective coordination of plans and ministries in their respective region and with the EFCP Office. Remember in prayer P. David Ahumada - Luzon, P. Sam Aberia in Samar, P. Nico Rule in Leyte, P. Adonis Santarin in NBI, Pastor Walter Conson in Cebu, Pastor Jonjon Delig in Mindanao and P. Noel Marcelo in Japan.
2. Department of Church Planting
a. Pray for the coming Church Planting Cohort to be held in Ormoc Leyte on November 4 to 8. Pray for the safe travel of more than 50 church planters.
b. Pray for the plan to hold multi-regional Basic Church Planting Trainings. Help for new teachers.
c. Pray for the attainment of Vision 200 by 2026. Right now, there are about 90 new churches already planted. Pray that fully organized churches will be challenged to plant at least 1 new church on or before the end of FY2025-2026.
3. Department on Campus Ministry
a. Pray for the department's director, Sis. NJ Dinoy. She is travelling to Columbia today to represent the EFCP to the coming IFFEC Theology and Youth Conference. Pray for strength, safety and power as she shares the youth ministry of EFCP as one of the plenary speakers.
b. Pray for the planned Campus Ministry trainings set for the following places Leyte, Palawan, Laguna and Paoay, Ilocos Norte.
c. Pray for the existing ministries in the campuses in these regions (Negros, Cebu, Bohol, and Metro Manila)
4. Department for Disaster Preparedness and Response
a. Pray for the wise use of the generators purchased for the following districts and good stewardship of the appointed custodians: Metro Manila - P. Leo Landicho, Real Quezon - P. Tito Martinez, Palawan - P. Ronie Frias; Samar - P. Sam Aberia (already have 1), Leyte - P. Gabo Monasterio, Negros, P. Dodong Sanchez (already have 1), Cebu - Bro. Junmar Lawas; Agusan - P. Jonjon Delig, Davao - P. John Reposposa.
b. Pray for effective coordination and continued quick response for relief of the members of the department during calamitous time.
5. Department of Ministries for Uniformed Personnel
a. Pray for Rev. Dante Balili as he heads the department for reorganization and delegation of new local leaders.
b. Pray for plans that may utilize EFCP resources allotted for this ministry to impact police force for God.
6. Department of Community Development
a. Created just recently to partner with local churches and new church plants to provide community development and sustainability.
b. Pray for the appointment of the right regional coordinators to help in the creation of programs and its dissemination to the local regions and districts.
c. Pray for the first nationwide community development seminar to be held Summer Institutes of Linguistic in San Juan Metro Manila this February 2025.
7. EFCP Administration and Staff
a. Pray for Sis. Nenet Caraca as she effectively leads the business affairs of the denomination. Pray for all the EFCP churches to be faithful in their remittances of their 10% contribution to the denomination for it to be able to minister to the needs of the churches.
b. Pray for wisdom for Pastor Gil Zuniega as he coordinates the National Program of Pastoral Development through the BPS.
c. Pray for Sis. Keanna Ramirez, Office Secretary as she coordinates and maintain EFCP platforms for effective communications.
d. Pray for Bishop Ariel C. Jornales as he plans and oversees its completion for all EFCP ministries. May he always be strengthened, empowered and protected as he does regional and international visits and ministries.
EFCP and all its churches are God's. He will take care of everything as we place them in His hands.
