URGENT HIRING: The Marine Biodiversity and Evolution Laboratory is looking for a Research Assistant who can assist in documenting local ecological knowledge and biodiversity of shipworms from different localities. This role will be based in UP Diliman and hired under Phase 2 of the “Teredinids and Associated Microbes: A Multi-level Investigation of Lifestyles and Outstanding Compounds as Sources of Novel Therapeutics” (TAMMILOC) Project funded by DOST.

𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 I The Student-Athletes and Performers Scholarship Grant for SLSU–Bontoc Campus is now open for qualified students.

This scholarship recognizes and celebrates the dedication, talent, and perseverance of student-athletes and performers who exemplify school spirit through their outstanding contributions.

Please note that only two (2) student-athletes and performers will be selected for this scholarship grant.

READ | SLSU Bontoc celebrates SHINE @ 22 Charter Anniversary

Unlike previous years when anniversary events were spread across an entire week, the SLSU-Bontoc Campus administration, together with Unit and Office Heads, decided to compress the activities into a two-day celebration composed of Faculty Day and Family/Campus Day.

The decision was made to ensure that academic schedules would not be significantly disrupted, particularly with the upcoming midterm examinations in March.

NEWS | Assistant Professor Cabillo honored at regional DOLE PESO Congress

Cabillo plays a critical role in enhancing job placement initiatives and expanding employment prospects for SLSU Bontoc graduates and alumni. According to Cabillo, the award is a reflection of the university community's collective efforts to assist students in making the move from school to the workforce.

"This recognition is for the entire SLSU-Bontoc community, not just for me," Cabillo said. "Our objective has always been to provide students and graduates with opportunities to apply their skills and develop fulfilling careers, in addition to knowledge."
