The MBC Library is pleased to present its Quarterly Report on Library Attendance and Book Borrowing for the period of April to June 2026.

This report highlights the library utilization of each academic program, reflecting the engagement of our students in accessing library resources and services. These statistics serve as a basis for assessing library usage and continuously improving our programs, collections, and services to better support the academic needs of the MinSU community.

The MBC Library warmly welcomes the new batch of Return of Service (ROS) students from the 𝑩𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝑯𝒐𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 (𝑩𝑺𝑯𝑴).

The students were endorsed to the library by 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐙𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘉𝘚𝘏𝘔, to render their Return of Service. Before starting their assigned duties, the MBC Library personnel conducted an orientation to familiarize them with the library's policies, assigned tasks, and workplace guidelines.

As part of the program, the MBC Library conducted a Library Orientation, introducing the library's resources, services, facilities, rules, and regulations. Library brochures were also distributed to help students become familiar with the library and encourage them to maximize the library's resources throughout their academic journey.

The MBC Library is grateful for the opportunity to be part of this activity and looks forward to supporting the students of the Bulalacao Extension Classes with quality library resources and services throughout the academic year. 📚✨

Today, the Mindoro State University Bongabong Campus warmly welcomed the first-year students, transferees, returnees, and parents during the 𝑮̲̅𝒆̲̅𝒏̲̅𝒆̲̅𝒓̲̅𝒂̲̅𝒍̲̅ 𝑶̲̅𝒓̲̅𝒊̲̅𝒆̲̅𝒏̲̅𝒕̲̅𝒂̲̅𝒕̲̅𝒊̲̅𝒐̲̅𝒏̲̅ held at the MBC Gymnasium with the theme, "ᴍɪɴꜱᴜ: ᴛʜᴇ ꜱᴛᴀʀᴛ ᴏꜰ ʏᴏᴜʀ ꜱᴜᴄᴄᴇꜱꜱ ᴊᴏᴜʀɴᴇʏ." The activity introduced students and parents to the University's academic programs, student support services, policies, and opportunities that will guide them throughout their journey at MinSU.

In the afternoon session, the MBC Library personnel conducted the Library Orientation, where students were introduced to the library's rules and regulations, resources, facilities, and services. Library brochures were also distributed to help students become familiar with the library and encourage them to maximize its resources in support of their academic success.

The MBC Library looks forward to serving and supporting every MinSUan throughout their academic journey. We encourage everyone to make the library their partner in learning, research, and lifelong discovery.

𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝: 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕

This week, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐝 𝐑. 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐚 , 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘓𝘪𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘔𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘳𝘰 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺, facilitated the 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒖𝒔 𝑳𝒊𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 via Zoom. The meeting focused on the readiness of library services for the opening of Academic Year 2026–2027.
Among the topics discussed were the implementation of the Approved 2026 Revised Library Manual, the conduct of the library inventory, issues and concerns regarding the processing of Library IDs, the status of newly acquired books, submission of library reports, updates to the library website, preparations for Accreditation, ISO, and RQAT, the Five-Year Library Development Plan (2027–2031), and the initial preparations for National Book Week 2026.

Following the meeting, the 𝐌𝐁𝐂 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 to relay the updates from the Campus Librarians Meeting and share the key learnings from the Onboarding Program, Basic Customer Service, and Gender Sensitivity Training. The team also discussed the library's preparations for the opening of classes to ensure that the library's facilities, resources, and services are ready to meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff.

Through continuous planning, collaboration, and professional development, the MBC Library remains committed to providing efficient, responsive, and quality library services to the MinSU community. 📖✨
