Simultaneous Tree-Planting Activity

In celebration of Cordillera Day and in support of the 80th Abra Council Charter Anniversary, which aims to promote environmental stewardship, reforestation, and sustainable development across the Province of Abra, Kilong-Olao Elementary School joined the Simultaneous Tree-Planting Activity.

The activity was actively participated in by the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, learners, and teachers, under the leadership of Ms. Daisy U. Dalmacio, District Boy Scout Coordinator.

The school also extends its sincere appreciation to the volunteers who generously shared their time and effort in support of this meaningful activity: 2LT Arjay Lomioan, PA, PMSg Raymund Bacuyag, PAT Melchor Pe Benito, PAT Andy Lomioan, and Jeffrey Torres, CAA. Their voluntary participation and commitment greatly contributed to the success of the tree-planting activity and reflected the spirit of unity, environmental responsibility, and community service.

Through this initiative, Kilong-Olao Elementary School reaffirms its commitment to protecting the environment and inspiring learners to become responsible stewards of nature.

Promoting Safe and Peaceful Learning Spaces

Sir Macrence L. Licuben, together with his learners, displayed the “Learners and Schools as Zones of Peace” tarpaulin in support of DepEd Order No. 32, s. 2019. He also displayed the information dissemination materials for the 38th National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM 2026) and the DepEd Guidelines on Class Suspensions.

These initiatives reinforce our commitment to maintaining a safe, peaceful, and child-friendly learning environment. Guided by this year’s theme, “Naghahanda at Kumikilos Tungo sa Panatag na Bagong Pilipinas,” we continue to promote disaster awareness, preparedness, and resilience within our school community.
