Bolinayan, MAGPALISTA NA! 📣📋

Pride and perseverance on dance parade & main dance exhibition Boliney National High School once again carried the banner for Sal-lapadan District / BuDaBoSa in the Division Eliminations of SINING TANGHALAN 2026 with a powerful Bayle sa Kalye and Dance Exhibition entry. Under the guidance of MAPEH Coordinator and coach Heidi C. Dumaual, the students performed a dance fusion that honored the resilience of the mountain communities of Bucloc, Daguioman, Boliney, and Sal-lapadan; communities that rose, rebuilt, and kept moving after last year’s series of typhoons. The choreography blended festive movements with traditional Tinggian choreography, respectfully taught by Cultural Dance Troupe Adviser Jewel B. Silva, producing a moving tribute to cultural strength and recovery.

Gratitude to the champions behind the scenes;
this achievement reflects a community effort. Special thanks to Jun‑Jun Cortel, BNHS school head, for championing Sal-lapadan’s BAYLE SA KALYE entry and for believing in our performers and coaches; to Mayor RSB Hon. Ronald S. Balao‑as and the Boliney LGU team for their consistent sponsorship of transportation and participant needs; to Sir Kennedy C. Isiguen of Bila‑Bila Elementary School for lending 14 artistically designed headdresses for public display; to Ma’am Janice Luben and Boliney Central School for costume support (beautiful skirt-costume); to Mr. & Mrs. Edmund Stimson and Mr. Herman for generous billeting and safe travel arrangements; to the Brgy. Poblacion officials for securing our practice venue (Binnowag Plaza); to SB Nelson Bocaig for the snacks during the last day or practice; to SB Samin Baggas for the hair spray & makeup (worth 500.00); to Rev. Fr. Edward Awao & Coach Heidi for the meal (Mang Inasal) after the event); and to the countless supportive parents, families, friends, Ma’am Christine Poblete (PSDS of Sal‑lapadan), the Boliney NHS family, and community volunteers.

To our performers, "there are no shortcuts to success, only long roads. With only three (3) and a half days of practice, your heart, grit, and discipline showed. You performed with pride and dignity; your dedication made the district proud. We celebrate what you accomplished onstage and off, and we acknowledge the sacrifices that got you there.

This is not the end, rather it’s a step on our journey. We trust our RIGHT TIME will come. Congratulations to every dancer, coach, and supporter who made this possible. Keep practicing, keep honoring our culture, and keep lifting Boliney high. Looking forward with hope! Ha Aho, Aho!

Boliney National High School Shines at District Festival of Talents (DFOT) ReadAthon English: Advocacy Pitch — 3rd Place Winner & Multiple Special Awards

We proudly congratulate the Boliney National High School team for their outstanding performance at the ReadAthon English: Advocacy Pitch — District Elimination held in Bilabila Sal‑lapadan, Abra on January 24, 2026. Their achievement in placing Third Overall reflects days of dedicated practice, strong teamwork, and exemplary public speaking. This accomplishment highlights the students’ commitment to thoughtful advocacy and persuasive communication—skills that will serve them well beyond the competition stage.

Special recognition goes to Kersha Casandra C. Luben, who was named Best Speaker for her clear, confident delivery and persuasive argumentation. Kersha’s poise and command of language set a high standard and inspired her teammates and classmates. Equally impressive, the dynamic presentation team of Rhoseth D. Lizalis and Kersha Casandra C. Luben earned the Best PowerPoint Presentation award for a well‑organized, visually engaging, and content‑rich slide deck that effectively supported their advocacy message.

This success would not have been possible without the unwavering guidance of their dedicated coach, Lucresse Jaigin Jewel B. Silva. Her mentorship, strategic coaching, and encouragement helped the students refine their ideas, rehearse with purpose, and present with professionalism. We also extend heartfelt thanks to Stewart Silva, Sir Ernest Aton and School Head Jun‑Jun B. Cortel for their leadership and support in preparing the team and celebrating their achievements.

We acknowledge with deep gratitude the massive support from the participants’ parents, family, and friends whose prayers, encouragement, and presence boosted the team’s confidence. Community backing played a vital role in the students’ morale and readiness to compete. The combined efforts of coaches, school leaders, and families created the foundation for this proud moment in our school’s history.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making the whole Boliney National High School community proud. We celebrate our students’ success and look forward to continued excellence in academic competitions and advocacy. Congratulations once again to Kersha Casandra C. Luben, Rhoseth D. Lizalis, their coach Lucresse Jaigin Jewel B. Silva, and the entire school community for this well‑deserved recognition.
