NATIONAL SU***DE PREVENTION MONTH

SSLG Officers take the lead on raising awareness and promoting mental health in order to prevent su***de among the learners of Liwa-Liwa Integrated School. These initiatives aimed to educate the learners especially the teenagers about the signs of su***de, reduce stigma around mental health issues, and provide support to those struggling with suicidal thoughts or emotional distress.

"Electing Leaders, Shaping Futures."

In connection to the conduct of SSLG elections, the Liwa-Liwa IS management administered an automated school-based election on May 7, 2024 to their learners through the initiative of Ma'am Ella C. Bermudez, SSLG Adviser and Ma'am Eunice Leah Mae M. Junio, SSLG Co-adviser with the assistance of Ma'am Judith A. Cascante & Ma'am Blessa Marel C. Paragas , SSLG Comelec Members. The said election was facilitated by Sir Anthony C. Esteban, Comelec Chairperson with the supervision of Dr. Marvin C. Sicat, school head.

Through this kind of activity, learners are empowered to exercise their right to vote for the candidates they believe will best serve their interests. This democratic participation fosters a sense of belonging and ownership within the student body, reinforcing the idea that every voice matters.

Valentine's Day is for everyone we love, not only lovers. Of course, there are other occasions to express our love besides Valentine's Day. Instead, it's just another chance to express our love and gratitude to the people we care about.
