The Ambuklao NHS Public Speaking Club was officially launched on August 21, 2025, at Ambuklao National High School.
The event marked a significant step toward empowering learners and teachers to develop confidence, communication skills, and leadership through the art of public speaking. The launching program was highlighted by the participation of five enthusiastic student members and five dedicated teacher-participants who committed to serve as mentors and role models. With its theme βSpeak Up! β Building Confidence through Public Speaking,β the club aims to create a supportive platform where students can enhance their speaking abilities, overcome stage fright, and engage in meaningful dialogue. The initiative is also envisioned to strengthen collaboration between teachers and students in fostering a culture of self-expression, critical thinking, and community engagement.
Adding prestige to the event, Ms. Jobelle C. Anselmo Batanes, Regional Executive Assistant to the Regional Director, graced the occasion and delivered an inspiring message. She motivated the participants by emphasizing the value of public speaking as a powerful tool for leadership, self-confidence, and community service. Her presence and encouragement further ignited the passion of the students and teachers to participate actively in the clubβs future activities.
