The Binejayeng BSU-Bokod Campus Journalism Binejayeng is the name of the natural lake located at the heart of the place where the school was built.

Before the establishment of this institution in 1969, this place has been known as a ground where people come around during rainy seasons when the mushroom usually grow, and together, the people have a chit-chat and exchange of ideas and information about realities, while harvesting mushrooms.
