Bokod NHS receives 25 FIRST AID KITs intended for learners who joined the Basic Life Support Training so they may continue to hone the lifesaving skills gained from the 3-day training. According to health.com, FIRST AID KIT is used to carry essential supplies that you would need in case of an emergency. Therefore, you should keep in mind the following tips: easy to handle and light; handy and completely contains the necessary for first aid items; it easy to recognize, thus red bag is appropriate; It’s best to keep it out of children’s reach. However, they should know it exists.
BENEFITS: Everyone can experience accidents and disasters. Therefore, having a first aid kit at every children’s second home is a key to a Child Friendly School.
There are many reasons why it’s so important to have a first aid kit in every school. Here are just two of them:
The first, and most common, is for children. Kids always play and have fun without thinking about the risk of hurting themselves. They often get hurt and we have to help them quickly.
The second reason reminds people with natural disasters as basic life events. Lately, we’ve been experiencing typhoons and earthquakes. Having first aid kits reflects our readiness and probably resiliency.

Kabataang Pilipino, mag-ingayyyyyy!

Tunay ngang walang makapapantay sa isang Pilipinong MAG-AARAL na may puso, galing, at talino. Kaya naman, nararapat lang nating ipagdiwang ang kanilang pagsisikap at tagumpay.

The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Youth Affairs and Special Concerns- Youth Formation Division (OASYASC-YFD), in partnership with DepEd Region VI and Schools Division Office of Iloilo City, will spearhead a virtual celebration of National Students' Day 2022 on November 17, 2022 via DepEd Philippines and DepEd Tayo- Youth Formation official page. To commemorate the event, a series of pre-event sessions will be held from November 14 to 16, 2022 co-presented by outstanding government and civil society organizations around the country.

With the theme, "Ikaw. Ako. Tayo: Bahagi ng Proseso at Boses ng Pagbabago," the celebration aims to provide learners, with different backgrounds, a platform to be engaged and be heard where everyone enjoys learning and being creative- trying new things, finding solutions, embracing their responsibilities, and valuing their meaningful contribution in coming up with what's best for them and what they truly deserve. We put the spotlight to our Filipino learners who remain strong and steadfast amidst different challenges.

Join us this Friday, October 28, at 10 am, for the 6th episode of Stories For A Better Reality

In celebration of the International Day Against Climate Change, this episode will tackle youth-led climate change adaptation and mitigation initiatives and inspire others to be part of the solution in addressing the adverse effects of the climate crisis.

Featured in this episode are youth climate advocates Franz Alejano of the Philippine Reef and Rainforest Conservation Foundation Inc. and Keith Sigfred Ancheta of Climate Reality Philippines.

Dr. Patricia Ann Sanchez of the University of the Philippines-Los Baños, and Elenida Basug of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources will serve as reactors while Yeb Saño of Greenpeace Southeast Asia will be our resource speaker for our segment.

Ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon ay kaisa ng buong bansa sa pagdiriwang ng Pambansang Buwan ng mga Katutubo sa bisa ng Presidential Proclamation 1906 s. 2009 na layong gunitain ang pagsasabatas ng Republic Act 8371 o ang The Indigenous Peoples Rights Act noong Oktubre 29, 1997.

May temang, “Kasaysayan, Karunungan, at Wika ng mga Katutubong Pamayanan: Mga Saligan ng Katutubong Pagkakakilanlan at Tulay Tungo sa Inklusibong Kaunlaran,” nais bigyang-diin ng Kagawaran ang patuloy na pakikiisa at suporta sa mga Katutubong Pamayanan sa pamamagitan ng Indigenous Peoples Education Program na nasa ikalawang dekada na ngayong 2022.

My Prayer for All Teachers & BNHS Staff
Almighty God, We come to you today and give thanks for all our teachers. Thank you for the way in which they give of themselves each day in the classroom, Serving and instructing the next generation of this land.. . .We thank you for them all now.
Father, please fill everyone’s hearts with courage through your mighty Spirit. Fill them with your strength, so they may rise up through all challenges and not grow weary.
Fill them with your wisdom, so that they may be able to make good judgement when guiding and helping others.
Fill them with your peace, so that when stress and anxiety comes, it would not overwhelm them.
Fill them with your joy, so that the passion they have for their subject may become a infectious passion that spreads.
We ask all this in the wonderful name of Jesus.
