To all students and parents:

Please be informed that there will be no classes on July 27, 28, and 29, 2026 (Monday to Wednesday).

This is because the majority of our faculty members will be attending the PEAC In-Service Training in Cebu City during these dates.

Regular classes will resume on Thursday, July 30, 2026,unless otherwise announced.

NCCI History | Celebrating the 107th Birth Anniversary of Mrs. Monica Ursal Villamor-Fernan

Today, July 6, we proudly commemorate the 107th Birth Anniversary of the late Mrs. Monica Ursal Villamor-Fernan (1919-2009) an exceptional woman whose unwavering dedication, vision, and service helped shape the legacy of Northern Cebu Colleges, Inc.

As the beloved wife and steadfast partner of our school founder, Sir Pusoy, she was the strong woman behind his success in advancing the cause of education. Her support, wisdom, and commitment played a vital role in the growth and development of the institution.

Beyond her invaluable contributions to NCCI, Mrs. Fernan was a trailblazer in her own right. In the 1950s, she established the Bogo School of Dressmaking, empowering countless individuals through practical education and skills training.

Her commitment to community service was equally remarkable. She was a pioneering member and officer of the Catholic Women's League (CWL) and the Girls Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) – Bogo Chapter, and also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bogo Puericulture Center, dedicating her time to the welfare of women, children, and the community.

Mrs. Fernan was also a gifted athlete and respected sports leader. During her youth, she excelled in softball, volleyball, pole vault, and the 100-meter and 200-meter dash. Her passion for sports inspired generations of young athletes.

As one of the pioneering coaches of the Northern Cebu Colleges Softball Girls Team, she helped build a formidable program that dominated the sport from the 1950s through the 1990s, earning the team a reputation as one of the region's most competitive and respected softball powerhouses.

Mrs. Monica Ursal Villamor-Fernan will always be remembered as a pioneering woman, educator, public servant, athlete, coach, and community leader. Above all, she was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, and a loyal friend whose life was defined by service, compassion, and excellence.

As we celebrate her life and legacy, may her inspiring example continue to guide the NCCI community and remind us that true leadership is measured by the lives we uplift and the values we pass on to future generations.

The NCCI Administration suspends classes for JHS and SHS today, June 29, 2026 (Monday) for a Half Day (1:00-4:00 pm) because of imminent heavy rainfall due to incoming low pressure. The safety and security of our students are our utmost concern.
