The general assembly was meaningful and productive gathering for our department. We discussed important matters such as the 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗲𝗲, presented the 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁, and talked about the 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

The session also welcomed 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗕𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗼, 𝙒𝙀𝙇𝘼 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩, who provided a helpful tutorial on the new 𝗦𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗗 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (𝗟𝗠𝗦).Through this session, students were guided on how to effectively use and navigate the platform for digital learning.

We also recognized and awarded certificates to the active students who continuously support and contribute to the department.

And when this happens — whether in everyday conversations or even in places of authority — it reminds us why speaking up matters. Every comment, every glance that reduces a woman to an object chips away at her presence, her choices, her autonomy. It is not just words or actions — it is a culture that normalizes disregard and disrespects the very humanity of women.

Women are 𝓯𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓵𝓮𝓼𝓼 in standing their ground.

This Women’s Month is not only about celebration. It is also about confrontation — confronting harmful words, outdated mindsets, and the systems that allow women to be reduced to less than they are. It is a call to amplify voices, defend boundaries, and reject any notion that a woman’s value can be measured by how she makes others feel.
