The ๐€๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐ฌ๐ฒ๐œ๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ ๐’๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ successfully held a Leadership Training Seminar for the new set of officers for A.Y. 2026-2027. Guided by our APS adviser, ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ค ๐€๐ง๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฐ ๐’๐š๐ฅ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐จ๐ง, together with ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐‘๐ก๐ž๐š ๐Œ๐š๐ž ๐˜๐ญ๐š๐ง๐ , the officers engaged in a full day of meaningful discussions and activities.

The Psychology Department successfully held its First Semester General Assembly on July 19, 2026, bringing together Psych majors to discuss key matters concerning the department's direction and progress. Highlights of the assembly included the presentation of the ๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜€๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐˜† ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜, and discussions on the ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜'๐˜€ ๐—บ๐—ถ๐—น๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜€, ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜„ ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜€, and ๐—ด๐—ผ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜€ ๐˜๐—ผ๐˜„๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ๐˜€ ๐—ฎ ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—ฐ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ณ๐˜‚๐—น ๐—ณ๐˜‚๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฒ.

The assembly also featured the election and welcoming of the new APS officers, and we extend our congratulations to the newly elected leaders as they begin their service. We also took a moment to recognize and celebrate our departmental listers, whose academic excellence was honored.

We would also like to acknowledge ๐—”๐˜๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—˜๐—ฎ๐˜€๐—ฒ for smoothing the attendance-checking process, providing the students a more organized assembly experience.

As we close this assembly, let us carry forward the discussions and decisions made today. Here's to another successful year as one Psychology Department!

In response to the recent magnitude 7.8 earthquake in Mindanao, the Psychology Program of Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges, in partnership with Mercy Malaysia, deployed four of its recently graduated students to provide Psychological First Aid to the affected survivors.

Mr. Albert Von Dave Casas, Ms. Stella Marie Sabellano, Ms. Narel Grace Satera, and Ms. Jared Manalo generously volunteered to support their fellow Filipinos during this difficult time.

The Psychology Program is truly proud of their strong sense of volunteerism and genuine heart for service.
