𝐖𝐄 𝐖𝐄𝐋𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔, 𝐃𝐘𝐂𝐈𝐚𝐧𝐬! ⚓
Ahoy there! The Freshmen Orientation for Academic Year 2026–2027, themed 𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐈: 𝐀 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐔𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐮, was a great success and marked an exciting beginning to every DYCIan’s college voyage!
The freshmen explored the ELIDA Campus through the Campus Familiarization Walk, led by our drum be**er, who kept the energy high and the excitement alive throughout the activity.
Moreover, our School President, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 “𝗞𝗲𝗹” 𝗬𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮, personally welcomed the freshmen and delivered an inspiring message to officially begin their journey at DYCI. He emphasized the institution’s commitment to “𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙨” and introduced the 𝟯𝗖𝘀—𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲—a promise that reflects DYCI’s dedication to supporting every new DYCIan throughout their college journey. He also introduced the 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗛𝗨𝗕, a dedicated space where students can seek assistance, raise concerns, and make inquiries. Thank you for your warm and heartfelt welcome that will surely leave a lasting impression on every DYCIan.
Our Vice Presidents also graced the orientation and shared valuable insights about the institution. We extend our sincere appreciation to 𝗗𝗿. 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗙. 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗼, Vice President for Academic Affairs; 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗧. 𝗟𝗶𝗺, Vice President for Operations; and 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘇𝗮 𝗖. 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗯𝗮𝘁, Vice President for Student Affairs. Your valuable insights helped our freshmen better understand the institution, its services, and the opportunities that await them as members of the DYCI community.
The talented students of 𝗛𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗴 𝗗𝗬𝗖𝗜𝗮𝗻 and 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗘 also showcased entertaining and captivating performances that brought excitement and energy to the event, making the orientation even more memorable.
The program concluded with the closing message of 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗠𝗮. 𝗔𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗼 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘀-𝗚𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗼, Deputy Vice President for Student Affairs, who officially ended the orientation by extending another warm welcome to our newest DYCIans.
Indeed, this day marked the beginning of a remarkable voyage for every freshman. It was an insightful event that embodied the principles of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4, 16, and 17. We hope you felt the warmth and hospitality of the DYCI community.
