Isinailalim na sa State of Calamity ang buong Lalawigan ng Bulacan sa bisa ng Panlalawigang Kapasyahan na inilabas ngayong araw, Agosto 20, matapos ang malawakang pinsalang iniwan ng tuluy-tuloy na pag-ulan mula sa nagdaang bagyo at habagat. Alinsunod sa deklarasyon, mas mapapabilis ang paglalabas ng pondo at pagbili ng relief goods, para masigurong agad na matutugunan ang pangangailangan ng mga mamamayan.

Sa bayan ng Bocaue, tinitiyak din ni Mayor Jonjon Villanueva ang patuloy na paghahatid ng kinakailangang tulong para sa mga pamilyang naapektuhan.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 20

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

πŸ“ Ilocos Sur
πŸ“ La Union
πŸ“ Pangasinan
πŸ“ Bataan
πŸ“ Bulacan

πŸ“ Pampanga
πŸ“ Tarlac
πŸ“ Zambales
πŸ“ Batangas
πŸ“ Cavite
πŸ“ Laguna

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

The orientation served as a valuable opportunity for our teachers and personnel to deepen their understanding of the Unified Performance System, promoting greater awareness, alignment, accountability, and continuous professional growth.
