I.S. Montessori would like to congratulate Archon Napoleon Rommel B. Cortez of Grade 7 for his achievement in the 2026 SMART/MVP Sports Foundation Region 3 Taekwondo Championship held at last June 21, 2026 at Robinson's Starmills in San Fernando, Pampanga.

Now wearing his Taekwondo red belt, Nap secured a Silver Medal for Recognized Poomsae and Cadet Taeguk 5 under Team AIDA Taekwondo Academy.

Nap trains consistently and works hard with the support of his parents and his personal coaches to achieve excellence in every competition he participates in. Alongside his studies, Nap is also training hard for his upcoming international competition in Korea.

Congratulations, Nap! May you continue to serve as an inspiration to other Archons. Keep doing your best in your chosen field of sports. We look forward to seeing more of your achievements. Your I.S. Montessori family is very proud of you.

I.S. MONTESSORI FIRST DAY OF CASA CLASSES

The Integrated School of Montessori, Inc. (I.S. Montessori) campus buzzed with fresh energy, bright smiles, and immense excitement as we officially welcomed our youngest learners from the Casa Department last June 17, 2026.

The opening of Casa classes focused on building comfort and a sense of belonging through a series of fun, interactive icebreakers designed to ease transition jitters.

Mrs. Ma. Elena G. Eusebio, MAEd - the school Principal, warmly welcomed families and formally introduced the passionate team of Casa teachers to the students and parents. Right after their introduction, the Casa teachers kicked off the morning with a lively, synchronized dance number. Learners were escorted to the Casa classrooms for their getting-to-know activity per class, then they were allowed to explore their new environment, given time for free play and build friendships with their new classmates.

I.S. Montessori prepared a secure and inviting atmosphere for both returning and new Casa students. Teachers greeted each child individually at the door, helping them transition smoothly from their parents' care. Initial activities focused on teaching children basic classroom routines, using specialized Montessori materials that foster independence and self-reliance.

To help our little learners gradually adjust to school life, the first week of Casa classes followed a special shortened schedule. This gentle transition period ensured that the children ease into their new environment without feeling overwhelmed. The regular school schedule will officially commence on June 22, 2026:
Morning (AM) Session: 7:40 AM to 10:40 AM
Afternoon (PM) Session: 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM

To prepare students for any impending emergency this S.Y. 2026-2027, I.S. Montessori successfully conducted the first scheduled and announced Campus Emergency Response and Preparedness Emergency Drill on the second day of classes (June 16, 2026). The comprehensive safety exercise actively engaged students, faculty and staff under the supervision of the Campus Safety Committee headed by the school's Safety Officer - Kuya Es San Pablo assisted by the school's Discipline Officer - Teacher Dale Garcia.

The primary goal of the drill was to reinforce the school's commitment to campus safety and disaster readiness. By practicing standardized emergency protocols, the school is able to ensure that the entire school community can react quickly, calmly, and efficiently during any emergency.

Students from the Elementary and Junior High School levels demonstrated discipline in following designated evacuation routes to their assigned safe zones without panic. Faculty members successfully managed classroom accounting procedures, ensuring every student was safely evacuated and logged. The Campus Safety Committee conducted an immediate debriefing session to evaluate the overall ex*****on. Response timelines and exit bottleneck points were analyzed to further refine the school’s master emergency plan.Through regular drills like this, the Integrated School of Montessori, Inc. continues to foster a proactive culture of safety, ensuring that the campus remains to have a secure environment layout for holistic learning.

This effort is a reinforcement of emergency evacuation and safety drills that the students practiced last year as recommended by the Bocaue Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) which includes the standard "Duck, Cover, and Hold" technique, tailored to the structural design of the campus. Likewise, the use of the new emergency exit gate was introduced to the students following the recommendations of the Bocaue MDRRMO.

As we open S.Y. 2026-2027, may the I.S. Montessori Community be blessed with another fruitful school year. On the first day of Elementary and High School face-to-face classes, students were welcomed by their advisers holding their respective section place cards at the I.S. Montessori Covered Activity Area.

After the assembly, the first Flag Raising Ceremony (FRC) for this school year was held at the I.S. Montessori Covered Activity Area. After the FRC, the school Principal - Mrs. Ma. Elena G. Eusebio, MAEd, welcomed our students, parents / guardians and guests to S.Y. 2026-2027. After giving a warm welcome, Teacher Ellen introduced the members of the teaching and non-teaching staff. Each Academic Coordinator then introduced their faculty members per department.

It was nice seeing Montessorians again as we welcome them back to school. It was also nice to see new faces and new members of the I.S. Montessori community as we welcome them.

The S.Y. 2026-2027 I.S. Montessori core value is TRUTH: We are rational, finding the truth in God and are called to speak the truth with courage.

As we help mold our students, we teach them to tell the truth and speak it with courage at all times.

PARENTS' ORIENTATION FOR S.Y. 2026-2027

Before I.S. Montessori formally opened S.Y. 2026-2027, Parents / Guardians were gathered last June 11, 2026 for an orientation where updates and changes regarding the DepEd's new three-term calendar was introduced by the school Principal - Mrs. Ma. Elena G. Eusebio, MAEd. Along with this transition, the new grading system as well as guidelines for awards and recognition was discussed to familiarize parents / guardians. School rules and policies were also discussed to keep attendees in the know.

Mr. Emmanuel B. Agapito - the school's President, gave his warm welcome remarks while Mrs. Isabelle C. Valencia - the Family Council 2025-2027 President, led the community in prayer before starting the forum. Special thanks to the Parents and Guardians who attended this school year's orientation. Your cooperation and support for school efforts are highly appreciated.
