SPCBAA BASKETBALL LEAGUE - IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

GAMES CANCELLED - AUGUST 15 & 16, 2026

Due to the weather conditions and flood risk in Bocaue and surrounding areas, we have decided to cancel our scheduled games this Saturday and Sunday.

We understand the disappointment and inconvenience this may cause, but everyone’s safety must come first. We would rather make the call early than put our players, officials, and community at unnecessary risk.

Affected games will be rescheduled and announced accordingly.

Thank you for your understanding. Please stay safe and take care, everyone.

ANNOUNCEMENT

GAMES CANCELLED – AUGUST 8 & 9, 2026

Due to the prevailing weather conditions, all scheduled basketball games today, Saturday, August 8, and tomorrow, Sunday, August 9, 2026, are CANCELLED.

While we understand that everyone looks forward to the weekend games, the safety and well-being of our players, officials, organizers, supporters, and their families remain our priority.

The cancellation will also allow everyone to:

• Avoid unnecessary travel during unfavorable weather conditions
• Reduce the risk of accidents caused by slippery roads, flooding, or poor visibility
• Ensure the safety of players and spectators traveling to and from the venue
• Give teams adequate time to rest and prepare once games resume
• Allow organizers to assess conditions and ensure that games can be conducted safely

The affected games will be rescheduled. The revised schedule will be announced once arrangements have been finalized.

We ask everyone for their understanding and cooperation. Please stay indoors whenever possible, monitor official weather advisories, and prioritize your safety and that of your families.

Basketball can wait. Everyone’s safety comes first.
