Welcoming Future Lawyers Through the College of Law General Orientation 2026

The JILCF College of Law, in collaboration with the JILCF Law Student Government (LSG), successfully conducted its General Orientation for Academic Year 2026–2027, welcoming students as they begin another meaningful chapter in their legal education. The orientation introduced students to the academic journey ahead while fostering a sense of purpose as they work toward becoming future lawyers grounded in faith and integrity.

The program was graced by Hon. Judge Zaldy B. Docena (Ret.) as the distinguished speaker, who shared valuable insights anchored on this year's theme, “On Justice, Judgment and Journey: Learning the Law & Embracing the Calling.” His message encouraged students to understand not only the principles of law but also the responsibility and purpose behind answering the call to the legal profession.

REX Bookstore also brought essential law books and legal references closer to the students and professors, helping them prepare for the academic year ahead. As AY 2026–2027 begins, the JILCF College of Law looks forward to another year of excellence, perseverance, and purpose as it continues to prepare future lawyers to serve with competence and character.

Ngayong buwan ng Agosto, sama-sama nating ipinagdiriwang ang Buwan ng Wika bilang pagpupugay sa yaman at kahalagahan ng wikang Filipino—isang wikang nagsisilbing salamin ng ating pagkakakilanlan, kultura, at pagkakaisa bilang isang bansa.

Kasabay ng temang, "Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormansyon," nawa'y maging inspirasyon ito upang patuloy nating pagyamanin ang ating sariling wika habang responsable at makabuluhang ginagamit ang makabagong teknolohiya sa pagkatuto at paglikha.
