PTA Organizes Basic Self-Defense Training for Teachers

Amid recent safety concerns, the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) organized a Basic Self-Defense Training for JILCF Grade School Department teachers, facilitated by professionals.

The training introduced practical techniques for personal protection, recognizing and avoiding possible threats, and responding appropriately during unexpected situations. The instructors also emphasized that self-defense is not about encouraging confrontation but about staying alert, protecting oneself, and making safe and responsible decisions.

PTA Treats Teachers and Staff to Fresh Fruits During Wellness Week 2026

HIGHLIGHT: Grade School Learner Earns Two Silver Awards in International Mathematics Competitions

The Jesus Is Lord Colleges Foundation, Inc. proudly congratulates Mateo Isaac Bondoc of the Grade School Department for earning two prestigious silver awards in international mathematics competitions.

Mateo received a Silver Award in the International Kangaroo Mathematics Competition, held on April 12, 2026. He also earned another Silver Award in the Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad (HKIMO) 2026 Heat Round – Philippine Region, held on May 17, 2026.

These remarkable achievements reflect his dedication, perseverance, and outstanding mathematical ability. The entire JILCF community celebrates his success and wishes him continued excellence in future competitions.

Our Grade 6 students successfully participated in a Basic First Aid Training with CPR, where they learned essential emergency response skills, proper bandaging techniques, and the fundamentals of CPR. Through this meaningful initiative, our learners gained knowledge, confidence, and a deeper sense of responsibility to help others during emergencies.

Due to unfavorable weather conditions and in consideration of the safety of our students, teachers, and families, classes in the Grade School Department will shift to Online Asynchronous Learning on July 13, 2026.

Students are advised to monitor their class group chats and learning platforms for the activities and tasks provided by their advisers.

LOOK: Jesus is Lord Colleges Foundation, Inc. – Grade School Department conducted a program with the theme "Stop Bullying: Bullying is Not a Joke."

The program highlighted some of the most common types of bullying and the consequences of engaging in such behavior. As stated in Republic Act No. 10627, its purpose is to stop students from engaging in bullying — so BE PART OF THE CHANGE!

Bullying can lead to negative outcomes such as mental health issues, emotional stress, and poor academic performance. These can be avoided if we love, respect, and support one another.
Always be an upstander, never a bystander!
