Reading is the cheapest way of travelling. It can land you to many various places around the world by just simply glancing through texts and images and letting minds embrace imagination while doing so. Indeed, reading actively will not only offer head knowledge but also cater avenues for new learning and experiences.

Alternative Learning System - Senior High School Grade 12 HUMSS learners and teachers actively participated in the conduct of Synchronized Reading in celebration of Reading Month held last November 27, 2025 at Iluminada Roxas-Mendoza Memorial High School.

This activity proves that a reading nation will largely take part in society's future innovation.

Practicing and Exposing an individual in a real-world working scenario will help them to be well-equipped in facing life after Senior High School in different fields.

Last November 06 and 07, Iluminada Roxas-Mendoza Memorial High School held its Work Immersion Orientation headed by its ever-dedicated and hardworking Work Immersion Coordinator, Aldrin C. Ape together with all the SHS and ALS-SHS teachers headed by their Academic Coordinator, Raymond DA Temblique and SHS Focal Person Mrs. Nanette G. Ang.

The 2-day seminar and orientation opened an avenue for Grade 12 SHS and ALS-SHS learners to be well-aware of what awaits them in their Work Immersion journey. With all the insightful talks and meaningful activities, they were able to be exposed to do's and don'ts before, during and after their Work Immersion. It also helped them experience writing Technical Written forms and underwent Mock Job Interviews.

After the event, they received completion certificate as a proof that Grade 12 SHS and ALS-SHS learners are now ready to jump on to the next level.

Sa bawat laro, may mga nanalo at natatalo, ngunit ang pinakamahalagang bagay na dapat matimo sa isipan ay ang paggalang at pagtanggap ng pagkatalo sapagkat ang tunay na panalo ay ang mga taong marunong tumanggap ng pagkatalo.

Anoman ang maging resulta ng bawat laban, ang pakikisama, pakikipagkapwa-tao at mabubuong pagkakaibigan ang siyang magsisilbing tunay na tropeyo.
