March 21,2026- The SMCM community, through the initiative of the Alumni Association in partnership with the Alfonso Yuchengco Foundation, successfully conducted a meaningful medical mission for the residents of Boac. This outreach brought essential healthcare services closer to those in need, offering free consultations, check-ups, medicines, and vaccinations.

SMCM is grateful to the AY Foundation for its compassion and unwavering commitment to service. Special thanks are also extended to the SMCMAA BODs and to Gen. George Alino, whose initiative and efforts in inviting the AY Foundation made this noble cause possible. We also extend our deep appreciation to the alumni doctors who generously shared their time and expertise in serving the community.

Together, their generosity and leadership strengthened the spirit of care and solidarity within the community.

March 4, 2026- The school community commemorated the 363rd Baptismal Anniversary of Mother Ignacia del Espiritu Santo with a celebration centered on faith and gratitude.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Arvin Anthony Madla, an alumnus of the institution, whose homily reminded everyone that baptism calls each person to live a life marked by goodness and kindness. The members of the Mother Ignacia Movement renewed their commitment and welcomed new members, strengthening their dedication to pray for the cause of MIDES beatification. Following the Eucharistic celebration, students participated in a Quiz Bee and games that encouraged learning and shared values. The celebration continued with the observance of class feast days, fostering a deeper sense of unity among the students.

The day concluded with recreational activities for the TED and SHS, strengthening fellowship and joyful community spirit.

February 28-March 1, 2026- Students from the SMCM BSP and the SMCM GSP organizations recently gathered for a joint school-based encampment that became both a training ground and a moment of reflection. The encampment was led by the school’s very own Eagle Scouts, recipients of scouting’s highest rank, whose leadership ensured the success and discipline of the activity.

The program unfolded not just as a series of tasks, but as a lived lesson in responsibility, foresight, and servant leadership. More than technical mastery, the encampment nurtured discernment, cooperation, and quiet confidence among the scouts.

The experience stands as a reminder that true leadership is shaped in shared challenges and strengthened through meaningful service.

February 23, 2026- The school recently held its Career Guidance and Senior High School Fair to help students plan their future paths. With generous hearts, our alumni returned to their alma mater to personally share not only their career journeys but also the struggles, sacrifices, and triumphs that shaped them, and we sincerely thank them for graciously responding to the call to inspire the next generation. College representatives also presented their academic programs and admission requirements. Through this meaningful encounter, students were given the opportunity to reflect on their talents and aspirations. May the wisdom and insights gained guide them in discerning the path that God has lovingly prepared for them. We pray that they pursue their dreams with faith, integrity, and a commitment to serve others for the greater glory of God.
