In continuous pursuit of quality tertiary education, Marinduque State University is set to undergo its Hybrid Accreditation Survey Visit on September 15–17, 2026, conducted on-site at the MarSU Gymnasium and virtually via Zoom.

This accreditation will be spearheaded by expert accreditors from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP). To uphold high educational standards, the evaluation will cover key performance criteria based on the targeted survey levels

For Level III (3rd Formal Survey): Evaluators will rigorously examine the mandatory areas of Instruction and Extension, alongside chosen benchmark areas including Faculty Development, Licensure Exam Performance, Consortia and Linkages, and Library Services.

For Level IV (4th Formal Survey): Programs will be reviewed under high-impact criteria, specifically Research, Performance of Graduates, Community Service, International Linkages and Consortia, and a Well-Developed Planning Process.

MarSU Recommended for ISO 21001:2018 EOMS Certification After Successful Stage 2 Certification Audit

Marinduque State University (MarSU) reaches another significant milestone in its continuing pursuit of quality and excellence as the University is recommended for the issuance of the Certificate for ISO 21001:2018 Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS) following the successful completion of its Stage 2 Certification Audit conducted by external auditors from TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc. on September 1–4, 2026, across all four campuses.

The successful completion of the Stage 2 Certification Audit marks a major achievement in MarSU's institutional journey toward establishing and sustaining a management system that places learners and other beneficiaries at the center of educational processes. The ISO 21001:2018 framework provides educational organizations with a systematic approach to improving their processes, enhancing educational services, addressing the needs of learners and other interested parties, and pursuing continual improvement.

The recommendation for certification is a testament to the University's collective commitment to quality management and institutional excellence. It reflects the sustained efforts of MarSU in aligning its policies, processes, programs, services, and governance mechanisms with internationally recognized standards for educational organizations.

TUV Rheinland Philippines Successfully Conducts Day 1 of ISO 21001:2018 EOMS Stage 2 Certification Audit for Marinduque State University

Marinduque State University (MarSU) proudly marked the successful completion of Day 1 of 4 of the ISO 21001:2018 Educational Organization Management System (EOMS) Stage 2 Certification Audit.

The opening meeting commenced with an ecumenical prayer, followed by a welcome message from Assoc. Prof. Raoul J. Magcamit - Director, University Quality Assurance Division, which emphasized the value of collaboration and unity in sustaining MarSU’s quality assurance efforts.

Delivering the official message of University President Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta (on official business), VP for Administration, Finance, and Economic Enterprise Atty. Crispin Francis M. Jandusay reaffirmed the University’s unwavering commitment to excellence and service.

The audit plan was presented by Ms. Mary Grace Balobalo, Audit Team Leader of TUV Rheinland Philippines, Inc., with clarifications raised and successfully resolved.

From top management discussions, process audits, and classroom observations, the first day proved to be both meaningful and insightful, fueling inspiration across the MarSU community.
