With the theme "On the Job Training Experience: Shaping Careers, Unlocking Potential, and Fostering Excellence," the 4th year Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information System students proudly hosted a transformative Two-Day Career Internship Seminar and Training. Held at Marinduque State College - Santa Cruz Campus on February 1โ€“2, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the seminar gathered enthusiastic 4th year students eager to embark on their professional journeys.

The seminar aimed to instill invaluable knowledge, enhance practical skills, and foster a collaborative learning environment. This initiative sought to empower students for their imminent on-the-job training, providing them with the tools to excel in their professional journeys.

Distinguished resource speakers graced the event, delivering insightful talks on pertinent topics:

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Day 1 Resource Speakers and Topics:
โ€ข Dr. Annalyn J. Decena enlightened participants on "Effective Communication in the Workplace."
โ€ข Dr. Jellian T. Ricafrente facilitated discussions on "Psychology at Work and Sexual Harassment."

๐ŸŽค Day 2 Resource Speakers and Topics:
โ€ข Mr. Arnold R. Basas, a Business Relationship Officer at RCBC, shared insights on "Finance and the Corporate World" alongside real-life work experiences.
โ€ข Maria Rogelette Portento Ricohermeso, Branch Manager at PNB, delved into "Financial Literacy" while drawing from her own professional journey.

The enriching seminar concluded with a practical application session as the Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information System students conducted a mock interview, honing their interview skills and preparing them for the professional landscape ahead. This event stands as a testament to Marinduque State College's commitment to nurturing competent and confident professionals ready to make meaningful contributions in the workforce.
