Under Republic Act No. 11361, also known as the "Anti-Obstruction of Power Lines Act," the continuous and uninterrupted delivery of electricity is a shared responsibility between power distribution utilitiesโsuch as SURSECO-I and the state.
As such, private landowners are also responsible for ensuring that power lines on or near their properties are kept clear of any obstructions, such as tall-growing trees or vegetation.
To help ensure a reliable and uninterrupted power supply, we strongly encourage everyone to actively participate in maintaining clear and obstruction-free power lines.

STAC's delegation included Ms. Nerissa B. Salazar, the STAC Administrator, and Ms. Mary Joy B. Cancio, the TVET Coordinator.
This significant gathering brought together representatives from technical-vocational institutions (TVIs) with the shared goal of strengthening the delivery of technical-vocational education and training (TVET) in the province.
The program started with welcome and impactful remarks from the TESDA Assistant Regional Director and the Provincial Director, Romel M. Natad, MIE. He emphasized the importance of the forum and provided a brief preview of the topics to be addressed.
The presence of TESDA Region XIII Director, Dr. Florencio F. This direction setting empowers TVIs to develop and deliver programs that effectively address the current and future needs of various industries, leading to greater employability for graduates.
Moreover, TESDA focal persons also presented updates on 2024 accomplishments of TVIs, program registration updates, salient features of RA 12063, EBET framework act, TVET micro-credentialing, updates on CACS (ACAC and ACA), 2025 schedule of compliance audit, seal of integrity, conduct of competency assessment processes, and 2025 scholarship guidelines.
Indeed, the TESDA TVET Forum is an insightful, forward-looking and crucial activity, providing a necessary platform for dialogue among stakeholders in technical and vocational education and training. It also offers a key venue to tackle the issues, concerns, and challenges facing TVET delivery. This forum will act as a catalyst in developing a strategic plan to strengthen TVET in the province, thereby significantly contributing to our province's economic and social growth through the promotion of skills development and the alignment of workers' abilities with industry demands.
