The Southern Technological Institute of the Philippines, Inc. – College of Education proudly marked a moment of profound significance through its Candle Lighting and Pinning Ceremony for the Fourth Year Bachelor of Education students on July 13, 2026.

Steeped in tradition and meaning, this solemn rite symbolizes the passing of the torch of knowledge, wisdom, and service to the next generation of educators. The lighting of the candle represents the enduring light of learning that every teacher is called to uphold, while the pin serves as a distinguished emblem of honor, responsibility, and unwavering commitment to the teaching profession. As a meaningful sending-off ceremony, the occasion formally commissions our future educators as they prepare to embark on their practice teaching journey, where they will begin transforming theory into purposeful service.
