This day is dedicated to providing support and resources to individuals suffering from Schizophrenia and to raise awareness about the disorder and its impact on society.
Schizophrenia is a treatable mental illness characterized by persistent psychotic symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, disorganized thoughts, and behavior.

The recently conducted Career Guidance Program 2024 at Saint Vincent de Paul Diocesan College was an enriching journey aimed at equipping students with essential skills and knowledge for their future careers. Through a series of engaging events and activities, students explored various professions, honed their career readiness, and gained valuable insights into different academic programs.
๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ณ | The morning activities commenced with a short parade, where students showcased their creativity and aspirations by dressing up as professionals from diverse fields. Following this, the main program provided students with insights and presentations aimed at enhancing their career awareness and preparedness.
In the afternoon, the exhibit of the College Department offered students a closer look at the array of academic programs and career pathways available at the college. Through informative displays and interactive presentations, students gained insights into their potential academic and professional futures.
๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ด, ๐ญ๐ญ-๐ญ๐ฏ | Days 2 to 5 were dedicated to the Pre-Employment Seminar for Grade 11 students, and the Conduct of Career Guidance Modules 1 to 3 for Grade 10 students.
The Grade 11 students participated in a comprehensive Pre-Employment Seminar, where they received guidance on job search strategies, resume writing, interview skills, and professional etiquette. Mr. Brian A. Salazar, the Resource Speaker, shared valuable insights and practical tips to help students navigate the transition to the workforce successfully.
Meanwhile, the Grade 10 students engaged in a series of Career Guidance Modules designed to help them explore their interests, strengths, and career aspirations. Through interactive sessions and discussions, students gained a deeper understanding of various career paths, industry trends, and academic requirements, empowering them to make informed decisions about their future education and careers.
Overall, the Career Guidance Program 2024 celebration was a success, providing students with invaluable resources, guidance, and inspiration for their future careers.
