SFIS Participates in Barangay Nutrition Month Culmination Program

The Barangay Local Government Unit (LGU) of San Fernando invited the San Fernando Integrated School (SFIS) to participate in the Nutrition Month Culmination Program held on Saturday, July 25, 2026. The event brought together learners, parents, and teachers from San Fernando Integrated School and San Fernando Elementary School in a celebration promoting proper nutrition, healthy living, and community involvement.

The culmination program featured a variety of engaging competitions, including a Poster Making Contest, Food Display Contest, and Quiz Bowl, where participants showcased their creativity, knowledge, and teamwork. These activities highlighted the importance of good nutrition and encouraged learners to adopt healthy eating habits.

SFIS extends its sincere appreciation to the Barangay LGU of San Fernando for the invitation and for organizing a meaningful and successful Nutrition Month celebration. Such initiatives strengthen the partnership between the school and the community while promoting health awareness among learners.

PNP Bislig City Conducts School Safety Awareness Lecture at SFIS

San Fernando, Bislig City – In line with Division Memorandum No. 366, s. 2026, the Philippine National Police (PNP) – Bislig City visited San Fernando Integrated School at 10:30 A.M. to conduct a School Safety Awareness Lecture for learners and teachers.

The lecture covered important topics such as situational awareness, reporting suspicious behavior, emergency response, evacuation and lockdown procedures, and coordination with school authorities and the PNP.

The activity strengthened the school's commitment to promoting a safe, secure, and prepared learning environment through the collaborative efforts of the Schools Division Office and the PNP Bislig City.

SFIS Teachers Participate in Mangrove Planting Activity

On July 12, 2026, at 12:00 noon, the teachers of San Fernando Integrated School (SFIS), together with Principal II Ana Marie M. Maximales, actively participated in a Mangrove Planting Activity upon the invitation of the Barangay San Fernando Council.
The activity brought together teachers from San Fernando Integrated School and San Fernando Elementary School, as well as members of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay San Fernando and the Barangay Council, under the leadership of Barangay Captain Jomar R. Salazar.
The mangrove planting initiative aimed to promote environmental conservation, protect the coastal ecosystem, and encourage community participation in preserving natural resources. Through this collaborative effort, participants demonstrated their shared commitment to safeguarding the environment and creating a greener, more sustainable future for the community.
The activity also strengthened the partnership between the schools and the local government, highlighting the importance of unity and collective action in promoting environmental stewardship. The participants expressed their hope that the newly planted mangroves will continue to thrive and contribute to the protection of Barangay San Fernando's coastal areas for generations to come.

Bags of Hope, Gifts of Learning!

In a meaningful display of community support, the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials of San Fernando, Bislig distributed school bags to Grade 7 students as part of their commitment to promoting education and assisting young learners.

The initiative was spearheaded by Barangay Captain Jomar R. Salazar and SK Chairperson Christian Antipolda, together with other barangay and SK officials. The distribution brought joy and excitement to the students as they received school bags to help them prepare for the new academic year.

This generous effort reflects the dedication of the local government in supporting the educational needs of the youth and strengthening the partnership between the community and the school. The school extends its heartfelt gratitude to the BLGU and SK officials for their valuable contribution to the learners' success.

Welcoming a New School Year with Hope and Excitement!

The first day of classes for School Year 2026–2027 officially commenced with a short opening program attended by students, teachers, parents, and stakeholders. The program began with a warm welcome from our new school principal, Mrs. Ana Marie M. Maximales, who encouraged everyone to embrace the new school year with enthusiasm, commitment, and a passion for learning.

A short inspirational message was also delivered by our Public Schools District Supervisor, Mrs. Vilma C. Nuñez, who emphasized the importance of education, collaboration, and perseverance in achieving academic success.

Following the message of the PSDS, the teaching staff of SFIS was formally introduced by Mr. Ricky D. Telin, allowing students and parents to become acquainted with the educators who will guide them throughout the school year.

The distribution of notebooks to the students followed, providing them with essential learning materials for the coming academic year. The event marked a positive and meaningful start to another year of learning, growth, and achievement for the entire school community.
