IMPORTANT NOTICE: Cancellation of NEMSU-Bislig ROTC Unit Formation

TO: All NEMSU-Bislig ROTC Unit Cadets

In light of the recent earthquake and following the official release memo from North Eastern Mindanao State University Bislig-Campus dated 10 October 2025, tomorrow's formation is hereby cancelled. This decision has been made to prioritize the safety and well-being of everyone involved.

- Stay updated on any changes or announcements regarding future formations.

𝐍𝐄𝐌𝐒𝐔-𝐁𝐈𝐒𝐋𝐈𝐆 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 Unit Marks a Remarkable Milestone with Its First Formation!⁣

On 20 September 2025, the 𝐍𝐄𝐌𝐒𝐔-𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐠 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 proudly conducted its first formation a momentous event that signals the beginning of a new chapter in the journey of 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, and 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐦. The formation commenced with the 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, which lit the fire of dedication among the cadets and cadettes. The orientation did more than inform it empowered. It reminded each participant of the greater purpose of the ROTC: to build resilience, instill unwavering self-discipline, sharpen critical thinking, and mold every trainee into a self-reliant, responsible, and courageous leader ready to serve the nation. ⁣

The Reserve Command, Philippine Army proudly joins the nation in celebrating the 46th National Reservist Week (NRW) 2025, honoring the unwavering dedication of Army Reservists and ROTC Cadets.

This year’s theme, “Katuwang sa Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran ng Bagong Pilipinas,” underscores the vital role of the reserve force in building a resilient and progressive nation, an investment to national defense.

On July 16, 2025, the NEMSU-BISLIG ROTC Unit proudly commends the dedication and achievement of our cadets who have successfully completed their respective training phases. A total of 7 advance officers 2CL from DASIG-SILAB Class 13-2025, composed of 2 males and 5 female cadets who have completed both the ROTC Summer Camp Training (RSCT) and Advance ROTC Academic Phase Training (ARAPT 31/32). Likewise, the 4 advance officers of 1CL from SIKLAB-LAYA Class 13-2025, composed of 3 males and 1 female cadet who have successfully hurdled ARAPT 41/42.

These accomplishments are not merely checkmarks in a program, they represent days of unwavering discipline, early morning formations, physical endurance, and the sacrifices made in pursuit of growth and service. Each cadet stood firm in the face of challenges, never wavering in their commitment to becoming future leaders of the country.

To the members of DASIG-SILAB, your persistence and energy carried you through every stage of training. To the SIKLAB-LAYA cadets, your passion and resolve set the standard for excellence. The names of your classes reflect not just your journey, but the spirit you’ve embodied fueled by purpose, strengthened by unity, and driven by service.

This milestone is a reminder that you are capable of far more than you imagined. Let this be the foundation of the greater responsibilities and opportunities that await. Continue to lead, to serve, and to rise.

The North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) – Bislig Campus ROTC Unit successfully conducted its Joint Basic and Advance Reserved Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Graduation Ceremony for Academic Year 2024–2025 on May 31, 2025, held at the NEMSU-Bislig Gymnasium.

The ceremony commenced with a welcome address delivered by 1LT ARMANDO TUBO PA (Res), Assistant Commandant. This was followed by the Presentation of Cadets by SSG ALBERT O ARREZA (AGS) PA, Admin NCO, and the Confirmation of Graduates — consisting of 94 Basic Cadets and 5 Advance ROTC Officers — led by 1LT ARMANDO TUBO PA (Res)

With pride and humility, CDT COL JOVEN BUHIA 1CL, Corps Commander, received the Certificate of Loyalty, recognizing him as the Most Loyal, Most Obedient, and Most Helpful Cadet. He shared this honor with his fellow officers, who have also demonstrated exemplary performance:

An inspiring keynote address was delivered by Mr. Roland Nocete, NSTP-ROTC Coordinator, who emphasized the values of nationalism, patriotism, and resilience. He reminded the graduates:

> "As you march forward to pursue your dreams, remember to instill the spirit of resilience, nationalism, and patriotism. You are not just ordinary cadets—you are the guardians of our nation’s soul. Your discipline, courage, and love for country are the seeds of a stronger Philippines."
