We regret to inform everyone that today’s basketball game is hereby 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗮𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. This decision is made to ensure the safety of all players, officials, and spectators, especially those who will be traveling from distant areas.

For the rest of November 2025, here’s the full rundown: 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲, 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵-𝘂𝗽𝘀, 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲.

𝗜𝗡 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗧: The Gareza Lifesavers (Batch 2010) won against BSIT 2K13, 71–59.

Game 1 of the URSB Alumni Sportsfest 2025 was held today, November 8, at Binangonan Plaza Covered Court. Congratulations to Team Gareza Lifesavers (Batch 2010) for winning the first basketball game!

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡:The Opening Program of the 2025 Alumni Sportsfest and Homecoming officially commenced at 9:00 AM on November 8 at the University of Rizal System (URS) Binangonan Campus Grounds. The event began with an invocation, followed by the National Anthem and the “Awit ng Pamantasan” through an Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP).

Prof. Alfredo J. Toledo Jr., VP for External Affairs, led the recitation of the University’s Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives (VMGO) and Quality Policy. Dr. Joanne S. Concepcion, URSB Campus Director, then delivered a warm welcome message.

The Inspirational Message of University President Dr. Nancy T. Pascual was delivered by her representative, Dr. Ernie D. Tano, Dean of the College of Accountancy. This was followed by the presentation of technical officials and players, led by Mr. Rovel S. Buenaventura, VP for Internal Affairs, and Mr. Raymund E. Vergara, Auditor.

Mr. Raniell M. Cruz, represented by Clifford Gerbie Bacani, headed the symbolic Entrance of the Friendship Torch, Lighting of the Urn, and Oath of Sportsmanship.

The program concluded with the formal declaration of the opening of the 2025 Alumni Sportsfest and Homecoming by Dr. Joanne S. Concepcion, followed by the announcement of the day’s games by Prof. Sam Cedrick M. Colites, URSBAA President.

𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧: Despite the uncertain weather, the 2025 Alumni Sportsfest and Homecoming began on-the-dot at 8am at the University of Rizal System (URS) Binangonan Campus Grounds, November 8.

In officially opening the comradeship event, a warm-up basketball game featuring the participating contingents who would compete in various sports events throughout the celebration as well as the registration to officially sign in participants and provide their team assignments were simultaneously held.

Afterwards, the opening program will be hosted by Prof. Roselle Joy M. Bitong and Prof. John Rudolf P. Pascual and will be attended by university officials, alumni representatives, and faculty members.
