📣 ANNOUNCEMENT | ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS SA MGA GOV’T OFFICES AT ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES PARA SA MGA PAARALAN (AUGUST 20)

Alinsunod sa Memorandum Circular No. 131 ng OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT, ipatutupad bukas, August 20, ang mga angkop na alternative work arrangements sa mga tanggapan ng pamahalaan sa Rizal bilang tugon sa patuloy na epekto ng enhanced Southwest Monsoon o Habagat at sa inaasahang patuloy na malakas na pag-ulan na maaaring magdulot ng localized flooding at travel hazards.

Para naman sa mga paaralan, ipatutupad ang alternative learning modes at learning continuity measures para sa lahat ng antas sa pampubliko at pribadong paaralan.

Gayunman, ang mga ahensiya at tanggapang may kinalaman sa basic at health services, disaster preparedness and response, at iba pang vital services ay inaatasang magpatuloy sa operasyon at magbigay ng kinakailangang serbisyo sa publiko.

Ang mga Contract of Service (COS) at Job Order (JO) workers na mailalagay sa alternative work arrangements ay babayaran ng kaukulang sahod o suweldo, alinsunod sa umiiral na mga patakaran at regulasyon.

✅ Mananatiling bukas at operational ang mga sumusunod na frontline services ng Pamahalaang Bayan:

• Botika ng Bayan – libreng gamot
• Budget at Accounting – processing ng pondo at obligations
• Health Office – medical services at public health support
• Legal Office — notary service
• Local Civil Registry — registration of birth, marriage, and death
• Mayor’s Office – financial assistance
• MDRRMO – emergency at disaster response readiness
• MSWDO – financial assistance at social welfare programs
• PIO – real-time updates
• Treasury – koleksyon, bayad ng buwis at fees

👉 Para naman sa mga pribadong kumpanya at tanggapan, ang pagsususpinde ng trabaho o pagpapatupad ng alternative work arrangements ay mananatiling nasa pagpapasya ng kani-kanilang management o heads.

Patuloy na mag-ingat at unahin ang kaligtasan. Sa gitna ng patuloy na pag-ulan at pabago-bagong lagay ng panahon, hinihikayat ang lahat na manatiling alerto, umiwas sa mga lugar na maaaring bahain, at patuloy na subaybayan ang mga opisyal na abiso ng pamahalaan.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 19

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 129, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 19, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Abra
📍 Benguet
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro
📍 Oriental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Every report of violence in our schools breaks our hearts. It reminds us that our young people are facing battles that go far deeper than what we can see. 💔

Education is important. Character formation and morality matter. But if we want transformed campuses, we need transformed hearts. We need transformed lives. More than ever, our campuses need to hear the gospel. Our students, children, and youth need Jesus Christ. 📖

We believe that the hope and future of the next generation do not lie merely in better systems or greater knowledge, but in a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. That is why we must intentionally reach, disciple, and equip young people to follow Him.

Pray for families, churches, schools, believers, and missionaries. May we be faithful in sharing Christ with our children, our students, and the next generation. 🙏🏽

FYI CHILDEAN’ Parents and students.

In view of the rainfall forecast for August 18–19, 2026, the School Administration has decided to shift classes to online learning on these dates as a precautionary measure.

This decision is made with the safety and well-being of our students and personnel as our top priority. At the same time, we remain firmly committed to continuity of learning. The shift to online classes will allow teaching and learning to continue while minimizing the risks associated with travel and on-site attendance. Teachers will provide the necessary lessons, activities, and instructions through the appropriate online learning platforms.

There will be NO FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES on August 18 and 19, 2026. Classes in all levels will be conducted online. Students are expected to attend their scheduled online synchronous classes and comply with the learning activities and instructions provided by their respective teachers.

We ask parents and guardians to ensure that their children have a safe and conducive space for online learning and to continue monitoring official school announcements for further updates.

Meanwhile, our offices are open from 8:00AM to 3:00PM.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding, cooperation, and continued partnership as we prioritize the safety of our school community.
