📰 The Binalonian Triumphs at DSPC 2026
3rd Place Overall, Advances to RSPC
Juan G. Macaraeg National High School proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of its official school publication, The Binalonian, for emerging as Third Placer Overall in the recently concluded Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2026.
Demonstrating excellence in campus journalism, The Binalonian has earned its place as a Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) Qualifier, marking another significant milestone in the school’s continuing pursuit of academic and journalistic distinction.
This achievement reflects the dedication and guidance of School Paper Adviser Sir Jessie Lloyd A. Amos, whose commitment to nurturing responsible and competent young journalists continues to raise the bar of excellence.
The school also extends its gratitude to Head Teacher Dr. Rodelia Dela Paz, School Principal Dr. Richealyn C. Tadeo, and Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) Dr. Ana Jean B. Asuncion for their unwavering support and leadership in strengthening campus journalism initiatives.
The Division Schools Press Conference serves as a competitive platform where student-journalists showcase their skills in news writing, editorial writing, feature writing, sports writing, photojournalism, layout, and broadcasting. Beyond competition, it fosters critical thinking, ethical reporting, and responsible communication—essential qualities of future leaders.
As The Binalonian advances to the upcoming RSPC, the entire JGMNHS community stands united in pride and support. This success is not merely a recognition of talent, but a testament to discipline, teamwork, and the courage to speak the truth.
Congratulations to our student-journalists and mentors. The journey continues—stronger, bolder, and ready for the regional stage.
Padayon, The Binalonian! Padayon, JGMNHS!
