📢 UPDATED ADVISORY

CLASS AND WORK SUSPENSION

August 6, 2026 | Thursday

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 122 issued by the Office of the President, all classes and work in government offices are suspended on Thursday, August 6, 2026, in the Province of Pangasinan and other affected areas due to the continuous heavy rainfall brought by Tropical Storm Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon.

Accordingly, this advisory supersedes our earlier announcement regarding the implementation of the Alternative Delivery Mode (Hybrid ADM).

Hybrid ADM classes will no longer be conducted tomorrow. In compliance with the Memorandum Circular, all classes are suspended, and no learning activities will be conducted for learners.

Teaching and non-teaching personnel are likewise advised to observe the suspension of work, except those who may be required to render essential services as directed by the appropriate authorities.

The entire school community is encouraged to prioritize safety, remain vigilant, and continue monitoring official government advisories. Further updates will be posted through the official page of Juan G. Macaraeg National High School.

HYBRID ALTERNATIVE DELIVERY MODE (ADM)

In view of the inclement weather brought about by Tropical Storm Maymay and the continuing flooding within the school campus, Juan G. Macaraeg National High School will continue to implement a Hybrid Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) on Thursday, August 6, 2026.

Despite the improvement in some areas, the school campus remains underwater, making face-to-face classes unsafe for our learners and personnel.

Learners are advised to coordinate with their subject teachers and advisers regarding their learning activities and class schedules. Teaching and non-teaching personnel are likewise advised to follow the appropriate work arrangements as directed by the school administration.

The safety and well-being of our learners, personnel, and stakeholders remain our highest priority.

NEWS UPDATE | DPWH ROSALES, NAGSAGAWA NG PAUNANG INSPEKSYON PARA SA PAGKUKUMPUNI NG MGA RESTROOM

Bumisita sa Juan G. Macaraeg National High School ang mga inhinyero mula sa Department of Public Works and Highways–Rosales upang magsagawa ng paunang inspeksiyon at koordinasyon kaugnay ng planong pagkukumpuni ng mga restroom sa isa sa mga gusali ng paaralan.

Ang nasabing proyekto ay naisulong sa pamamagitan ng endorsement at pag-apruba ng pondo sa ilalim ng suporta ng ating masipag at mapagkalingang kinatawan, Hon. Ramon N. Guico Jr.

Kasama rin sa pagbisita ang SGOD Focal Person ng SDO Pangasinan II, bilang bahagi ng koordinasyon upang matiyak ang maayos na paghahanda at pagpapatupad ng proyekto.

Lubos ang pasasalamat ng buong pamunuan ng paaralan sa patuloy na suporta ng ating mga katuwang sa pagpapabuti ng mga pasilidad para sa kapakanan, kaligtasan, at kaginhawaan ng ating mga mag-aaral at kawani.

📢 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT | PROPOSED OFFERING OF THE OPEN HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM (OHSP) FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

Juan G. Macaraeg National High School is pleased to announce the proposed offering of the Open High School Program (OHSP) for Senior High School.

The OHSP is designed to provide a flexible learning pathway for learners who are unable to attend regular face-to-face classes due to various circumstances. This program allows eligible learners to continue and complete their Senior High School education through self-learning modules with guidance from teachers and facilitators.

The OHSP is intended for learners who:

✅ Have health conditions
✅ Are teenage parents
✅ Live far from school
✅ Need flexible learning arrangements
✅ Have limited access to school

Through the Open High School Program, we aim to:

📢 NDRM 2026 Earthquake Drill and High-Rise Rope Rescue Demonstration

As part of the observance of National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) 2026, Juan G. Macaraeg National High School successfully conducted the NDRM 2026 Earthquake Drill and High-Rise Rope Rescue Demonstration, reaffirming the school's commitment to promoting a culture of disaster preparedness, resilience, and safety.

Led by the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (SDRRMO), the activity showcased the coordinated efforts of our school emergency response teams. Special recognition is given to the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), Philippine Red Cross Youth Club, and Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) of JGMNHS for their active participation and invaluable support in the simulated rescue operations, demonstrating teamwork, leadership, and readiness during emergency situations.
