𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗘𝗔!
‎
‎This 𝟯𝙧𝙙 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠 of 𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗲 successfully conducted its first online meeting. The assembly opened with a 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧 led by our 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙖𝙝 𝙅𝙤𝙮 𝙇. 𝙏𝙤𝙟𝙚, followed by the official appointment of the new 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲𝘀, who will work hand-in-hand with the 𝙊𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣'𝙨 𝙀𝙭𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘽𝙤𝙖𝙧𝙙.

‎Following the appointments, 𝙎𝙞𝙧 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙞 𝙋. 𝙏𝙖𝙧𝙖 introduced the 𝙪𝙥𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 and 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 aligned with Values Education. These 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙨 are bound to ignite the passion of every 𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 on their journey to becoming a 𝙈𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙣𝙖 𝙂𝙪𝙧𝙤!

‎This 𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 marks the beginning of an exciting 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 for 𝙑𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙚. So sit back, grab your favorite blanket, and hold close a warm cup of coffee. Because this season is about to be embrace by the warmth of our 𝙪𝙥𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙨!

𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗡𝗦 𝗔𝗜-𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘀!

Isa sa napapanahong suliranin ng ating lipunan ay ang pag-angat ng Artificial Intelligence. Marahil nalikha ang AI para sa ikauunlad ng tao, gabay at tulong para sa inobasyon. Ngunit paano kung ang AI ang hindi maging tulay kundi isa nang sandata sa paggawa ng mga bagay na dapat ginagawa ng isang tao?

Bakit tutol ang Valere Educere sa mariing paggamit ng AI sa mga pubmat?
Una na rito ay ang pananatili ng integridad. Nakaugat ang Values Education sa katotohanan, katapatan at integridad ng tao. Nakikita rito ang panganib na pag-agaw sa kakayahan ng isang tao na maglikha ng materyales na naayon sa kanyang isip.

Pinapahalagahan ng Values Education ang orihinal na gawa o paglikha. Kasabay ng paganyaya sa mga mag-aaral na maging kritikal, ay isinusulong din ang kakayahang maging malikhain at orihinal at pagbibigay respeto sa kakayahan ng isa upang makapanglikha na hindi alipin ng AI.
Pinapalakas ng pagiging orihinal ang kakayahan ng isang tao bilang isang kritikal na kasapi ng lipunan.

Isa rin sa ibinubuhay na prinsipyo sa pagaaral ng Values Education ay ang paglinang sa pagiging "MAKA-KALIKASAN". Hindi lingid sa bawat isa na sa bawat pag-generate ng AI na materyal ay ang pagkaubos ng ating likas na tubig na siyang maaaring maging dahilan ng mas lalaki pang mga suliranin sa ating lipunan.

Sa aming surbey na ginawa para sa mga nagpapakabihasa sa Values Education, buong student body ang TUTOL sa paggamit ng AI-generated pubmat. Ipinagdiriwang ng buong kaestudyantehan ang makulay at masining na kakayahan at talento ng mga tao sa paggawa ng orihinal na pubmat.

Sa akademikong mga gawain, pahalagahan ang integridad, orihinal, at malikhaing talento ng bawat tao sa atin!

𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗢𝗨𝗧!

There are officially 325 students enrolled under the BSEd Values Education Program in total, and 𝟯𝟬𝟰 only voted. The overall percentage of those who casted their votes is 𝟵𝟯.𝟱𝟰%.

Arbalate earned 34 votes, Cerezo gathered 120 votes, Cosmiano got 67 votes, and Toje garnered 82 votes, in total of 304 votes which is 93.54% of representation of whole Values Education student body.

Every ending has a new beginning. This is not a goodbye, but a 'see you soon' as you begin the next chapter of your career. While we will miss seeing you around the campus, we are incredibly grateful for the lessons, laughter, and all the memories you shared with us.

Ms. Ma. Eloisa served as a faculty member of the College of Teacher Education and proud educator of the Values Education Department. She rendered two years of service and passion, and became an inspiration to Values Education Pre-service Teachers.
